SURAH AL-FAJR

89. Surah Al-Fajr (The Dawn)
(This Surah is Makkan, containing 30 verses and 1 section)

Allah’s Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

89:1. By the oath of that dawn.
89:2. And by the ten nights.
89:3. And by the even and the odd.
89:4. And by the night when it departs.

89:5. Is there an oath in this for the intelligent person?
89:6. Did you not see how your Lord dealt with (the nation of) ‘Aad?
89:7. The people of Iram (this is the name of a city) who were exceptionally tall.
89:8. That the likes of whom were never born in the cities.

89:9. And the (tribe of) Thamood, who carved out rocks in the valley.
89:10. And Fir’awn, that he used to punish with pegs (by tying them onto them).
89:11. (Those) who rebelled in the cities.
89:12. And who then spread great turmoil in them.
89:13. So, your Lord struck them hard with the whip of punishment.
89:14. Indeed, nothing is hidden from the sight of your Lord.

89:15. But man, whenever his Lord tests him by giving him honour and favour, so he then says, ‘My Lord has honoured me.’
89:16. And if He tests him and restricts his livelihood upon him, so he says, ‘My Lord has dishonoured me.’
89:17. It is not so; rather, you do not honour the orphan.

89:18. And you do not urge one another to feed the needy.
89:19. And you greedily consume the wealth of inheritance.
89:20. And love wealth with great passion.

89:21. Yes, certainly! When the Earth is crushed and blown into bits and pieces.
89:22. And when the command of your Lord comes, and the angels (come) in row upon row.

89:23. And on that Day, Hell is brought (near), (then) on that Day, man will reflect, but where is the time now to reflect?
89:24. He will say, ‘Alas! Had I somehow sent some good deeds ahead during my lifetime.’

89:25. So, on that Day, no one punishes like His punishment.
89:26. And no one binds like His binding.

89:27. (It will be said to the pious) ‘O satisfied soul.’
89:28. ‘Return towards your Lord, in the state that you are content with Him, and He is content with you.’
89:29. ‘Then enter (the ranks of) My chosen bondsmen.’
89:30. ‘And enter My Paradise.’

SURAH AL-BUROOJ

85. SURAH AL-BUROOJ (THE
PLANETS)
(This Surah is Makkan, containing
22 verses and 1 section)

Allah’s Name to commence
with, the Most Gracious, the
Most Merciful.

85:1. By the oath of the sky
which contains the great stars.

85:2. And by that Day which is
promised.

85:3. And by that day which is
a witness (i.e. Friday) and by
that day in which the people
present themselves (i.e. the day
of ‘Arafah).

85:4. May the People of the
Trench (of fire) be cursed (who
tortured the believers).

85:5. Those who lit that blazing
fire.

85:6. When they were sitting at
its borders.

85:7. And they themselves are
witnesses to what they were
doing to the Muslims.

85:8. And what did they dislike
of the Muslims except this that
they believed in Allah, the Most
Honourable, the Most
Praiseworthy?

85:9. That to only Him belongs
the kingdom of the heavens
and the earth, and Allah is
Witness upon everything.

85:10. Indeed, those who
tortured the Muslim men and
the Muslim women (by burning
them) and then did not repent,
for them is the punishment of
Hell and for them is the
punishment of the Fire.

85:11. Indeed, those who
believed and did good deeds,
for them are gardens beneath
which streams flow; this is the
great success.

85:12. Indeed, the grip of your
Lord is very severe.

85:13. Indeed, it is He Who
originates (creation) and then
repeats it (ie. He will re-create
on the Day of Resurrection).
85:14. And only He is the
Forgiving, the Loving to His
pious bondsmen.

85:15. The Owner of the
Throne, (He is) the Respected.

85:16. (He) always does
whatever He wills.

85:17. Did the story of the
armies reach you?

85:18. Which armies? (The armies
of) Fir’awn and Thamood.

85:19. Rather, the disbelievers
are (busy) in belying.

85:20. And Allah is encompassing
them from their backs.

85:21. Rather, it (Le. what the Beloved
Prophet Muhammad recites) is a
magnificently excellent Qur’aan.

85:22. (Written) in the
Preserved Tablet.

86. SURAH AL-TAARIQ (THE
NIGHT-COMER)
(This Surah is Makkan, containing
17 verses and 1 section)

Allah’s Name to commence
with, the Most Gracious, the
Most Merciful.

86:1. By the oath of the sky, and
by the one that comes at night.

86:2. And have you understood
what is the one that comes at
night?

86:3. The very brightly shining
star.

86:4. There is no soul that does
not have a guardian over it.

86:5. So, man should ponder
what thing he has been created
from.

86:6. Created from a spurting
(drop of) fluid.

86:7. Which comes out from
between the backs and the
chests.

86:8. Indeed, Allah is Able to
return him (back to life).

86:9. The Day when secrets will
be examined.

86:10. So, mankind will neither
have any sirength nor any
helper.

86:11. By the oath of the sky from
which comes down the rain.

86:12. And by the earth which
opens up by it (i.e. the rain).

86:13. Indeed, the Qur’aan is
definitely a decisive Word.

86:14. And it is not (at all) a
matter of amusement.

86:15. Indeed, the disbelievers
carry out their (evil) scheme.

86:16. And I (ie. Allah) plan
secretly.

86:17. Therefore, give them
some respite, give them some
time (up until they were ruined
in the battle of Badr).

indeed the recitation of an
honoured Messenger (ie. the
angel Jibra’eel).

81:20. The one who is powerful,
honoured in the Majestic Court
of the Owner of the Throne.

there (ie. in the heavens by
other angels), he is trustworthy.

miserly in revealing (the
knowledge of) the unseen.

81:25. And the Qur’aan is not
the recitation of Satan, the
banished one.

81:26. Then, where are you going
to (whilst leaving the Qur’aan)?

81:27. Only that (i.e. the Qur’aan)
is guidance to all the worlds.

81:28. For the one amongst you
who desires to become upright.

81:29. And (in reality) what can
you desire, unless it is willed
by Allah; the Lord of all the
worlds.

Allah’s Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

83:1.
Wailul lil-mutaffifeen.
Destruction is for those who weigh short.

83:2.
Allazeena izaktaloo ‘alan-naasi yastawfoon.
(They are) those who, when they acquire from others, take full measurement.

83:3.
Wa izaa kaaloohum aw wazanoohum yukhsiroon.
And when they give others by measuring or weighing, they give less.

83:4.
Alaa yazzunnoo ulaaa’ika annahum mab’oosoon.
Do those people not perceive that they will be raised (after death)?

83:5.
Li-yawmin ‘azeem.
For a Day of greatness.

83:6.
Yawma yaqoomun naasu li-Rabbil ‘aalameen.
The Day when all the people will stand in the Majestic Court of the Lord of all the worlds.

83:7.
Kallaa innna kitaabal fujjaari lafee Sijjeen.
Indeed, the record of the disbelievers is in the lowest place; Sijjeen.

83:8.
Wa maa adraaka maa Sijjeen.
And what do you know how (despicable) Sijjeen is?

83:9.
Kitaabum marqoom.
That record is a sealed text.

83:10.
Wailuny yawma’izil lil mukazzibeen.
Destruction is for the deniers on that Day.

83:11.
Allazeena yukazziboona bi-yawmid-deen.
Those who deny the Day of Justice.

83:12.
Wa maa yukazzibu bihiii illaa kullu mu’tadin atheem.
And no one denies it except every transgressor, sinner.

83:13.
Izaa tutlaa ‘alaihi aayaatunaa qaala asaateerul-awwaleen.
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, ‘(These) are stories of the people of the past.’

83:14.
Kallaa bal raana ‘alaa quloobihim maa kaanoo yaksiboon.
Not at all! Rather, their earnings (i.e., their sins) have caused rust upon their hearts.

83:15.
Kallaa innnahum ‘ar Rabbihim yawma’izil lamahjooboon.
Yes, certainly! They are indeed deprived of seeing their Lord on that Day.

83:16.
Summa innnahum la-saalooul-jaheem.
Then they will indeed have to enter Hell.

83:17.
Summa yuqaalu haazal lazee kuntum bihii tukazziboon.
It will then be said (to them), ‘This is that which you used to belie.’

83:18.
Kallaaa innna kitaabal abraari lafee ‘Illiyyeen.
Yes, certainly! The record of the righteous is in the highest place; ‘Illiyyeen.

83:19.
Wa maa adraaka maa ‘Illiyyeen.
And what do you know how ‘Illiyyeen is?

83:20.

Which are the close ones (i.e., the angels) witness.

83:24.
Ta’rifu fee wujoohihim nadratan-na’eem.
You will recognize the freshness of serenity in their faces.

83:25.
Yusqawna mir-raheeqim-makhtoom.
They will be given pure wine to drink, which is kept sealed.

83:26.
Khitaamuhuu misk; wa fee zaalika falyatanaa-fasil mutanaafisoon.
Its seal is of musk; and let the desires long for only this.

Wa mizaa juhu min tasneem.
And its mixture is from (the water of) Tasneem.

83:28.
‘Aynai yash-rabu bihal-muqarraboon.
(Tasneem is) a spring from which those who are close (to Allah) drink.

83:29.
Innallazeena ajramoo kaanoo minal-lazeena aamanoo yadhakoon.
Indeed, the culprits (such as Abu Jahl, Waleed Bin Mugheerah, etc.) used to laugh at the believers (in this world).

83:30.
Wa izaa marru bihim yataghaamazoon.
And when the believers used to pass by them, so they (i.e., the disbelievers) would wink at one another (in mockery).

Wa izan qalabooo ilaa ahlihimun qalaboo fakiheen.
And when returning to their homes, they used to return rejoicing (i.e., boasting about what they had done).

‘Alal-araa’iki yanzuroon.
Seated on thrones, observing (the destruction of the disbelievers).

Izaas samaaa’unfatarat.
When the sky has split open.

82:2.
Wa izal kawaakibun tasarat.
And when the stars have fallen.

82:3.
Wa izal bihaaru fujjirat.
And when the oceans are caused to flow away.

82:4.
Wa izal qubooru bu’sirat.
And when the graves are scraped off (and the dead would be resurrected).

82:5.
‘Alimat nafsum maa qaddamat wa akhkharat.
Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it has left behind.

82:6.
Yaaa ayyuhal insaanu maa gharraka bi rabbikal kareem.
O mankind! What has deceived you (and took you away) from your Lord, the Most Generous?

82:7.
Allazee khalaqaka fasawwaaka fa’adalak.
The One Who created you, then made you perfectly, then proportioned you.

82:8.
Fee ayyisooratim maa shaaa’a rakkabak.
He formed you into whatever shape He willed.

82:9.
Kallaa bal tukazziboona bidddeen.
Never (become arrogant)! Rather, you belie the establishment of justice (i.e., the Day of Judgement).

82:10.
Wa inna ‘alaikum lahaa fizeen.
And there are some guardians indeed (appointed) over you.

82:11.
Kiraaman kaatibeen.
The honourable scribes (i.e., Kiraaman Kaatibeen).

82:12.
Ya’lamoona maa taf’aloon.
That they know whatever you do.

82:13.
Innal abraara lafee na’eem.
Indeed, the righteous are definitely in the serenity (of Paradise).

82:14.
Wa innal fujjaara lafee jaheem.
And indeed, the wrongdoers are definitely in Hell.

82:15.
Yaslawnahaa yaw madddeen.
They (i.e., the disbelievers) will enter it on the Day of Justice.

82:16.
Wa maa hum ‘anhaa bighaaa’ibeen.
And they will not be able to hide from it.

82:17.
Wa maaa adraaka maa yawmmuddeen.
And what do you know how the Day of Justice is?

82:18.
Summa maaa adraaka maa yawmmuddeen.
Again, what do you know how the Day of Justice is?

82:19.
Yawma laa tamliku nafsul linafsin shai’aw wal amru yawma’izil lillaah.
The Day when no soul will have the authority for any other soul (to help, without the permission of Allah); and on that Day, all command belongs to Allah.

SURAH AL-NAAZI’AAT English Translation & Roman Transliteration

79. SURAH AL-NAAZI’AAT
(THE SOUL REMOVERS)
(This Surah is Makkan, containing
46 verses and 2 sections)

Allah’s Name to commence
with, the Most Gracious, the
Most Merciful.

79:1. By the oath of those
(angels) who harshly extract the
soul (of the disbelievers).

79:2. And (by those) who untie
knots (i.e. remove the souls of
believers) gently.

79:3. And (by those) who float
(in the heavens and the earth)
with ease.

79:4. Then (by those) who race
forward reaching quickly (as
though they are in a contest).

795. Then (by those) who plan
the operation (in the system of
this universe), that the disbelievers
will definitely be punished

79:6. On the Day when the
trembling one (i.e. the first blast
of the Trumpet) will cause
trembling.

79:7. Thereafter will follow the
subsequent one (i.e. the second
blast of the Trumpet).

79:8. How many hearts will be
trembling on that Day (with
fear and anxiety).

79:9. (They) will be unable to
lift up their gaze (due to the
horror).

79:10. The disbelievers say
(mockingly), ‘Will we backtrack
(ie. really return to our former
state)?!

79:11. What! Even when we have
become disintegrated bones?’

79:12. They said, ‘This return
(i.e. resurrection) would in that
case be an utter loss.’

79:13. So, that is not but a single
(terrifying) shout.

79:14, Thereupon they will be
assembled in an open field
(when resurrected).

79:15. Did the news of Moosa
reach you?

79:16. When his Lord called
him in the sacred valley of
Tuwa.

79:17. That ‘Go to Fir’awn, he
has rebelled.’

79:18. Tell him, “Do you have any
inclination towards this that you
become pure (from disbelief)?”’

79:19. “And that I may guide
you to your Lord, that you may
fear.”’

79:20. Then Moosa showed him
a very big sign (ie. his
luminous hand and staff).

79:21. Upon. this, he belied it
and disobeyed.

79:22. He then turned away,
(and) started his struggle
(against Moosa).

79:23. So, he gathered the
people, then (he) proclaimed.

79:24. And then (he) said, ‘I am
your highest lord.’

79:25. Allah consequently seized
him, in the punishment of both
this world and the Hereafter.

79:26. Indeed, in it is a lesson
for those who fear.

79:27. According to your
understanding, is it (more)
difficult to create you or the
sky? Allah created it.

79:28. He (Allah) elevated its
rooftop, then perfected it.

79:29. And He darkened its night,
and illuminated its brightness (by
making the day bright).

79:30. And thereafter (He)
spread out the earth.

79:31. And therefrom (He)
produced its water and pasture.

79:32. And (He) fixed firmly the

79:33. For your benefit and for
the benefit of your cattle.

79:34. Then when that common
disaster will arrive; (being) the
greatest (i.e. the second blow of
the Trumpet).

79:35. On that Day, man will
recall (all) what he struggled for.

79:36. And Hell will be made
visible to all those who can see.

79:37. So, the one who rebelled.

79:38. And gave preference to
the worldly life.

79:39. So indeed, only Hell is
his abode.

79:40. And as for the one who
feared standing in the Majestic
Court of his Lord and restricted
his soul from (illicit) desire.

79:41. So indeed, only Paradise
is (his) abode.

79:42. They (i.e. the disbelievers)
ask you (O Beloved) regarding
the Last Day, ‘When will its
appointed time be?’

79:43. What is your concern
regarding its explanation?

79:44. Only towards your Lord
is its finality.

79:45. You are purely a warner,
for the one who fears it.

79:46. The Day when they will
see it, it will seem as if they had
not remained in this world except
for an evening or its morning.

78:5.
Thumma kallaa sa ya’lamoon.
Then yes, certainly! They will come to know.

78:6.
Alam naj’alil arda mihaadaa.
Did We not make the earth a bed?

78:7.
Wal jibaala awtaadaa.
And the mountains as pegs (to anchor the earth)?

78:8.
Wa khalaqnaakum azwaajaa.
And (We) have created you in pairs.

78:9.
Wa ja’alnaa nawmakum subaataa.
And (We) made your sleep a (means of) rest.

78:10.
Wa ja’alnal laila libaasaa.
And (We) made the night a covering.

78:11.
Wa ja’alnan nahaara ma’aashaa.
And (We) made the day for seeking livelihood.

78:12.
Wa banainaa fawqakum sab’an shidaadaa.
And (We) built seven strong structures (i.e., skies) above you.

78:13.
Wa ja’alnaa siraajan wahhaajaa.
And therein (We) have kept an intensely bright lamp (i.e., the sun).

78:14.
Wa anzalnaa minal mu’siraati maaa’an thajjaajaa.
And (We) sent down heavy rain from the clouds.

78:15.

That (We) may produce grain and vegetation therewith.

78:16.
Wa jannaatin alfaafaa.
And dense gardens.

78:17.
Inna yawmal fasli kaana meeqaataa.
Indeed, the Day of decision has a fixed time.

Yawma yunfakhu fis soori fataatoona afwaajaa.
The Day when the Trumpet will be blown, you will therefore come forth in troops upon troops.

78:19.
Wa futihatis samaaa’u fakaanat abwaabaa.
And the sky will be opened, that it will become (a sky with) gates.

78:20.
Wa suyyiratil jibaalu fakaanat saraabaa.
And the mountains will be driven, that they will become like shining sand (as a mirage).

78:21.
Inna jahannama kaanat mirsaadaa.
Indeed, Hell is lying in ambush (for the disbelievers).

78:22.
Littagheena maa aabaa.
(Hell is) the destination of the rebellious.

78:23.
Laabiseena feehaa ahqaabaa.
Therein they will remain for a never-ending period.

78:24.
Laa yazooqoona feehaa bardanw wa laa sharaabaa.
They will not taste anything cold therein nor anything to drink.

78:25.
Illaa hameemanw wa ghassaaqaa.
Except for boiling water and burning pus (discharged by the people of Hell).

78:26.
Jazaaa’anw wifaaqaa.
As an appropriate recompense (for their misdeeds).

78:27.
Innahum kaanoo laa yarjoona hisaabaa.
Indeed, they had no fear of reckoning.

78:28.
Wa kazzaboo bi aayaatinaa kizzaabaa.
And they belied Our verses to the extreme.

78:29.
Wa kulla shai’in ahsainaahu kitaabaa.
And We have noted down everything, keeping it counted.

78:30.
Fazooqoo falan nazeedakum illaa ‘azaabaa.
Now taste (the punishment), that We shall not increase for you except the punishment.

The Day when Jibra’eel and all the angels will stand in rows; no one will be able to speak except the one whom the Most Gracious permitted (to speak) and who had spoken rightly.

78:39.
Zaalikal yawmul haqq; faman shaaa’at takhaza ilaa Rabbihee ma’aabaa.
That is the true Day; now whoever wishes to may take the path towards his Lord.

SURAH AL-MURSALAAT English Translation & Roman Transliteration

77. SURAH AL-MURSALAAT

(THOSE SENT FORTH)

(This Surah is Makkan, containing 50 verses and 2 sections)

Allah’s Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

77:1. By the oath of those (winds) which are sent consecutively.

77:2. Then (by) those (winds) that push with strength.

77:3. Then by those (winds) which lift and carry (the clouds).

77:4. Then (by) the ones (i.e., the verses of the Qur’an) which clearly differentiate right from wrong.

77:5. Then, by the oath of those (i.e., the groups of angels) who instill the remembrance (of Allah) into the hearts.

77:6. To complete the argument or to warn (the disbelievers).

77:7. Indeed, what you are promised (i.e., resurrection, punishment, and the Day of Judgement) will definitely occur.

77:8. Then (it will occur) when the light of the stars is put out.

77:9. And when the sky is split apart.

77:10. And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away.

77:11. And when the time of the Messengers (to be assembled) arrives.

77:12. “For which day were they (i.e., the distressing events) postponed?”

77:13. (They are postponed) for the Day of Decision.

77:14. And what do you know what the Day of Decision is?

77:15. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:16. Did We not destroy the earlier people?

77:17. We shall then drive the latter ones after them.

77:18. This is how We deal with the criminals.

77:19. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:20. Did We not create you from an insignificant fluid?

77:21. We then kept it in a safe place (i.e., the womb).

77:22. Until a known extent (i.e., until the time of birth).

77:23. Then We measured, so how excellent We are in having Power (over everything).

77:24. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:25. Did We not make the earth a gathering place?

77:26. For your living and dead?

77:27. And We placed high (mountains as) anchors therein and gave you excellent sweet water to drink.

77:28. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:29. “Walk towards that (i.e., the punishment) which you used to belie.”

77:30. “Walk towards the shadow of the smoke which has three branches.”

77:31. “Which neither gives (the coolness of a) shade nor saves from the flame.”

77:32. Indeed, Hell shoots up sparks like high palaces.

77:33. As if they are camels of yellow color.

77:34. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:35. This is a Day in which they will not be able to speak.

77:36. Nor will they be given permission to present excuses.

77:37. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:38. This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all of the former ones.

77:39. If you have any plot now, so (try to) use it against Me.

77:40. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:41. Indeed, the pious are in shades and springs.

77:42. And amongst fruits; whichever they may desire.

77:43. (They will be told) “Eat and drink with pleasure; the reward of your deeds.”

77:44. Indeed, this is how We reward the righteous.

77:45. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:46. “(O beliers!) Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while; indeed, you are sinners.”

77:47. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:48. And when it is said to them, “Offer Salah,” they do not offer it.

77:49. Woe to the beliers on that Day.

77:50. So then, after this (i.e., the Qur’an), in which statement will they believe?

SURAH AL-DAHR English Translation & Roman Transliteration

76. SURAH AL-DAHR

(THE TIME)

(This Surah is Madani, containing 31 verses and 2 sections)

Allah’s Name to commence with, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

76:1. Indeed, there has passed such a time upon man that his name did not even exist.

76:2. Indeed, We have created man from a drop of mixed sperm (of man and woman) in order to test him; We henceforth made him hearing, seeing.

76:3. We have indeed shown him the (right) path; whether (by believing) he be grateful or (by disbelieving) be ungrateful.

76:4. We have indeed kept prepared chains, shackles, and a Blazing Fire for the disbelievers.

76:5. Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup containing a mixture of Kaafoor.

76:6. What is that Kaafoor? A spring from which the special bondsmen of Allah will drink, causing it to flow wherever they wish in their palaces.

76:7. They fulfill their vows and fear that Day whose evil is widespread.

76:8. And out of His love, they feed the needy, the orphan, and the prisoner.

76:9. They (i.e., the righteous) say to them, “We give you food merely for the sake of Allah; we do not seek any reward or gratitude from you.”

76:10. “Indeed, we fear from our Lord such a Day which is extremely bitter, extremely severe.”

76:11. So Allah saved them from the evil of that Day and provided them freshness (to their faces) and enjoyment (to their hearts).

76:12. And gave them Paradise and silky clothes, as a reward for their patience.

76:13. (They) will be reclining in Paradise upon thrones; they will not see the hot sunshine therein nor the bitter cold.

76:14. And their (i.e., the trees’) shades will be covering them, and their fruit clusters will be brought down low (to be picked).

76:15. Rounds of silver vessels and silver cups, which will be like glass, will be presented to them.

76:16. Glasses made from silver, which the wine servers would keep on accurate measure.

76:17. And therein they will be given to drink those cups (containing pure wine), the mixture of which shall be ginger.

76:18. What is that ginger? (It is) a spring in Paradise called Salsabeel.

76:19. And around them will be everlasting male youths in service; if you see them, you would think that they are scattered pearls.

76:20. And when you look towards it (i.e., Paradise), you will see peacefulness and a great empire.

76:21. On their bodies are clothes of fine green silk and thick silk; and they were given silver bracelets to wear, and their Lord gave them pure wine to drink.

76:22. It will be said to them, “This is your reward, and your effort has been appreciated.”

76:23. Indeed, We have sent down the Qur’an upon you, gradually.

76:24. Therefore, remain patient upon the command of your Lord, and do not listen to any of the sinners or ungrateful amongst them (e.g., ‘Utbah Bin Rabee’ah and Waleed Ibn Mugheerah).

76:25. And remember the Name of your Lord, in the morning and the evening.

76:26. And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and glorify Him in most of the night.

76:27. Indeed, these people (i.e., the disbelievers) are in love with the worldly life and have left behind (i.e., neglected) the heavy Day.

76:28. It is We Who created them and strengthened their joints; and We can replace them with others like them, whenever We will.

76:29. This (i.e., the Qur’an) is indeed advice; so, whoever wishes to may take the path towards his Lord.

76:30. And what would you wish except what Allah wills; indeed, He is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

76:31. He admits into His Mercy whomsoever He wills. And for the unjust, He has kept prepared a painful punishment.
