Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
1. Lam Ya Kunil Lazeena Kafaru Min Ahlil Kitaabi Wal Mushri Keena Mun Fak Keena Hattaa Ta-Tiya Humul Bayyinah
2. Rasoolum Minal Laahi Yatlu Suhufam Mutahharah
3. Feeha Kutubun Qaiyimah
4. Wa Maa Tafarraqal Lazeena Ootul Kitaaba Il-La Mim B’adi Ma Jaa-At Humul Baiyyinah
5. Wa Maa Umiroo Il-La Liy’abu Dul Laaha Mukhliseena Lahud-Deena Huna Faa-A Wa Yuqeemus Salaata Wa Yu-Tuz Zakaata; Wa Zaalika Deenul Qaiyimah
6. Innal Lazeena Kafaru Min Ahlil Kitaabi Wal Mushri Keena Fee Nari Jahan Nama Khaali Deena Feeha; Ulaa-Ika Hum Shar Rul Ba Reeyah
7. Innal Lazeena Aamanu Wa ‘Amilus Saalihaati Ula-Ika Hum Khairul Bareey Yah
8. Jazaa-Uhum Inda Rabbihim Jan Naatu ‘Adnin Tajree Min Tahtihal An Haaru Khalideena Feeha Abada; Radiy-Yallaahu ‘Anhum Wa Ra Du ‘An Zaalika Liman Khashiya Rabbah.

98. SURAH AL-BAYYINAH
(THE CLEAR PROOF)
(This Surah is Madani, containing
8 verses and 1 section)
Allah’s Name to commence
with, the Most Gracious, the
Most Merciful.
98:1. The disbelieving People of
the Book and the polytheists
were not going to leave their
religion until clear proof comes
to them.
98:2. Who is that (clear proof)?
He is the Messenger of Allah
(ie. the Beloved Prophet
Muhammad), that he recites the
sacred Scriptures.
98:3. In which are written
upright Words (of Allah).
98:4. And the People of the
Book did not dispute but after
this that the clear proof (i.e. the
Beloved Prophet Muhammad)
came to them.
98:5. And those people (i.e of
the Book) were ordered to
worship Allah only, believing
solely in Him, being on one
side purely (ie. towards Islam
only), and to establish Salah,
and to pay Zakah, and this is
the straight religion.
98:6. Indeed, all the
disbelievers; the People of the
Book and the polytheists, are in
the fire of Hell, they will remain
in it forever; it is they who are
the worst of the entire creation.
98:7. Indeed, those who
believed and did good deeds; it
is they who are the best of the
entire creation.
98:8. Their reward with their
Lord is Gardens for dwelling,
beneath which streams flow, in
which they will abide forever
and ever. Allah is pleased with
them and they are pleased with
Him; this (reward) is for the
one who fears his Lord.
