Surah Al-Ahzaab (الأحزاب) is the 33rd Surah of the Holy Quran, located in Para 21. It is a Medinan Surah with 73 Ayahs. Its name translates to "The Confederates".
Maa ja'alal laahu lirajulim min qalbaini fee jawfih; wa maa ja'ala azwaajakumul laaa'ee tuzaahiroona minhunna ummahaatikum; wa maa ja'ala ad'iyaaa'akum abnaaa'akum; zaalikum qawlukum bi afwaa hikum wallaahu yaqoolul haqqa wa Huwa yahdis sabeel
Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior. And He has not made your wives whom you declare unlawful your mothers. And he has not made your adopted sons your [true] sons. That is [merely] your saying by your mouths, but Allah says the truth, and He guides to the [right] way.
اللہ نے کسی آدمی کے اندر دو دل نہ رکھے اور تمہاری ان عورتوں کو جنہیں تم کے برابر کہہ دو تمہاری ماں نہ بنایا اور نہ تمہارے لے پالکوں کو تمہارا بیٹا بنایا یہ تمہارے اپنے منہ کا کہنا ہے اور اللہ حق فرماتا ہے اور وہی راہ دکھاتا ہے
ख़ुदा ने किसी आदमी के सीने में दो दिल नहीं पैदा किये कि (एक ही वक्त दो इरादे कर सके) और न उसने तुम्हारी बीवियों को जिन से तुम जेहार करते हो तुम्हारी माएँ बना दी और न उसने तुम्हारे लिये पालकों को तुम्हारे बेटे बना दिये। ये तो फ़क़त तुम्हारी मुँह बोली बात (और ज़ुबानी जमा खर्च) है और (चाहे किसी को बुरी लगे या अच्छी) खुदा तो सच्ची कहता है और सीधी राह दिखाता है।
Ud'oohum li aabaaa'ihim huwa aqsatu 'indal laah; fa illam ta'lamooo aabaaa'ahum fa ikhwaanukum fid deeni wa mawaaleekum; wa laisa 'alaikum junaahun feemaaa akhtaatum bihee wa laakim maa ta'ammadat quloobukum; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheemaa
Call them by [the names of] their fathers; it is more just in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers - then they are [still] your brothers in religion and those entrusted to you. And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred but [only for] what your hearts intended. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
انہیں ان کے باپ ہی کا کہہ کر پکارو یہ اللہ کے نزدیک زیادہ ٹھیک ہے پھر اگر تمہیں ان کے باپ معلوم نہ ہوں تو دین میں تمہارے بھائی ہیں اور بشریت میں تمہارے چچا زاد اور تم پر اس میں کچھ گناہ نہیں جو نا دانستہ تم سے صادر ہوا ہاں وہ گناہ ہے جو دل کے قصد سے کرو اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے،
लिये पालकों का उनके (असली) बापों के नाम से पुकारा करो यही खुदा के नज़दीक बहुत ठीक है हाँ अगर तुम लोग उनके असली बापों को न जानते हो तो तुम्हारे दीनी भाई और दोस्त हैं (उन्हें भाई या दोस्त कहकर पुकारा करो) और हाँ इसमें भूल चूक जाओ तो अलबत्ता उसका तुम पर कोई इल्ज़ाम नहीं है मगर जब तुम दिल से जानबूझ कर करो (तो ज़रूर गुनाह है) और खुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है।
An-Nabiyyu awlaa bil mu'mineena min anfusihim wa azwaajuhoo ummahatuhum wa ulul arbaami ba'duhum awlaa biba'din fee Kitaabil laahi minal mu'meneena wal Muhaajireena illaaa an taf'alooo ilaaa awliyaaa'ikum ma'roofaa; kaana zaalika fil kitaabi mastooraa
The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed.
یہ نبی مسلمانوں کا ان کی جان سے زیادہ مالک ہے اور اس کی بیبیاں ان کی مائیں ہیں اور رشتہ والے اللہ کی کتاب میں ایک دوسرے سے زیادہ قریب ہیں بہ نسبت اور مسلمانوں اور مہاجروں کے مگر یہ کہ تم اپنے دوستوں پر احسان کرو یہ کتاب میں لکھا ہے
नबी तो मोमिनीन से खुद उनकी जानों से भी बढ़कर हक़ रखते हैं (क्योंकि वह गोया उम्मत के मेहरबान बाप हैं) और उनकी बीवियाँ (गोया) उनकी माएँ हैं और मोमिनीन व मुहाजिरीन में से (जो लोग बाहम) क़राबतदार हैं। किताबें खुदा की रूह से (ग़ैरों की निस्बत) एक दूसरे के (तर्के के) ज्यादा हक़दार हैं मगर (जब) तुम अपने दोस्तों के साथ सुलूक करना चाहो (तो दूसरी बात है) ये तो किताबे (खुदा) में लिखा हुआ (मौजूद) है
Wa iz akhaznaa minan Nabiyyeena meesaaqahum wa minka wa min Noohinw wa Ibraaheema wa Moosaa wa Eesab-ni-Maryama wa akhaznaa minhum meesaaqan ghaleezaa
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.
اور اے محبوب! یاد کرو جب ہم نے نبیوں سے عہد لیا اور تم سے اور نوح اور ابراہیم اور موسی ٰ اور عیسیٰ بن مریم سے اور ہم نے ان سے گاڑھا عہد لیا،
और (ऐ रसूल वह वक्त याद करो) जब हमने और पैग़म्बरों से और ख़ास तुमसे और नूह और इबराहीम और मूसा और मरियम के बेटे ईसा से एहदो पैमाने लिया और उन लोगों से हमने सख्त एहद लिया था
Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanuz kuroo ni'matal laahi 'alaikum iz jaaa'atkm junoodun fa arsalnaa 'alaihim reehanw wa junoodal lam tarawhaa; wa kaanal laahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseera
O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to [attack] you and We sent upon them a wind and armies [of angels] you did not see. And ever is Allah, of what you do, Seeing.
اے ایمان والو! اللہ کا احسان اپنے اوپر یاد کرو جب تم پر کچھ لشکر آئے تو ہم نے ان پر آندھی اور وہ لشکر بھیجے جو تمہیں نظر نہ آئے اور اللہ تمہارے کام دیکھتا ہے
(ऐ ईमानदारों खुदा की) उन नेअमतों को याद करो जो उसने तुम पर नाज़िल की हैं (जंगे खन्दक में) जब तुम पर (काफिरों का) लशकर (उमड़ के) आ पड़ा तो (हमने तुम्हारी मदद की) उन पर ऑंधी भेजी और (इसके अलावा फरिश्तों का ऐसा लश्कर भेजा) जिसको तुमने देखा तक नहीं और तुम जो कुछ कर रहे थे खुदा उसे खूब देख रहा था
Iz jaaa'ookum min fawqikum wa min asfala minkum wa iz zaaghatil absaaru wa balaghatil quloobul hanaajira wa tazunnoona billaahiz zunoonaa
[Remember] when they came at you from above you and from below you, and when eyes shifted [in fear], and hearts reached the throats and you assumed about Allah [various] assumptions.
جب کافر تم پر آئے تمہارے اوپر سے اور تمہارے نیچے سے اور جبکہ ٹھٹک کر رہ گئیں نگاہیں اور دل گلوں کے پاس آگئے اور تم اللہ پر طرح طرح کے گمان کرنے لگے امید و یاس کے
जिस वक्त वह लोग तुम पर तुम्हारे ऊपर से आ पड़े और तुम्हारे नीचे की तरफ से भी पिल गए और जिस वक्त (उनकी कसरत से) तुम्हारी ऑंखें ख़ैरा हो गयीं थी और (ख़ौफ से) कलेजे मुँह को आ गए थे और ख़ुदा पर तरह-तरह के (बुरे) ख्याल करने लगे थे।
Wa iz yaqoolul munaafiqoona wallazeena fee quloobihim maradum maa wa'adanal laahu wa Rasooluhooo illaa ghurooraa
And [remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease said, "Allah and His Messenger did not promise us except delusion,"
اور جب کہنے لگے منافق اور جن کے دلوں میں روگ تھا ہمیں اللہ و رسول نے وعدہ نہ دیا تھا مگر فریب کا
और जिस वक्त मुनाफेक़ीन और वह लोग जिनके दिलों में (कुफ्र का) मरज़ था कहने लगे थे कि खुदा ने और उसके रसूल ने जो हमसे वायदे किए थे वह बस बिल्कुल धोखे की टट्टी था।
Wa iz qaalat taaa'ifatum minhum yaaa ahla Yasriba laa muqaamaa lakum farji'oo; wa yastaazina fareequm minhumun Nabiyya yaqooloona inna buyootanaa 'awrah; wa maa hiya bi'awratin iny yureedoona illaa firaaraa
And when a faction of them said, "O people of Yathrib, there is no stability for you [here], so return [home]." And a party of them asked permission of the Prophet, saying, "Indeed, our houses are unprotected," while they were not exposed. They did not intend except to flee.
اور جب ان میں سے ایک گروہ نے کہا اے مدینہ والو! یہاں تمہارے ٹھہرنے کی جگہ نہیں تم گھروں کو واپس چلو اور ان میں سے ایک گروہ نبی سے اذن مانگتا تھا یہ کہہ کر ہمارے گھر بے حفاظت ہیں، اور وہ بے حفاظت نہ تھے، وہ تو نہ چاہتے تھے مگر بھاگنا،
और अब उनमें का एक गिरोह कहने लगा था कि ऐ मदीने वालों अब (दुश्मन के मुक़ाबलें में ) तुम्हारे कहीं ठिकाना नहीं तो (बेहतर है कि अब भी) पलट चलो और उनमें से कुछ लोग रसूल से (घर लौट जाने की) इजाज़त माँगने लगे थे कि हमारे घर (मर्दों से) बिल्कुल ख़ाली (गैर महफूज़) पड़े हुए हैं - हालाँकि वह ख़ाली (ग़ैर महफूज़) न थे (बल्कि) वह लोग तो (इसी बहाने से) बस भागना चाहते हैं
wa law dukhilat 'alaihim min aqtaarihaa summa su'ilul fitnata la aatawhaa wa maa talabbasoo bihaaa illaa yaseeraa
And if they had been entered upon from all its [surrounding] regions and fitnah had been demanded of them, they would have done it and not hesitated over it except briefly.
اور اگر ان پر فوجیں مدینہ کے اطراف سے آئیں پھر ان سے کفر چاہتیں تو ضرور ان کا مانگا دے بیٹھتے اور اس میں دیر نہ کرتے مگر تھوڑی
और अगर ऐसा ही लश्कर उन लोगों पर मदीने के एतराफ से आ पड़े और उन से फसाद (ख़ाना जंगी) करने की दरख्वास्त की जाए तो ये लोग उसके लिए (फौरन) आ मौजूद हों
Wa laqad kaanoo 'aahadul laaha min qablu laa yuwal loonal adbaar; wa kaana 'ahdul laahi mas'oolaa
And they had already promised Allah before not to turn their backs and flee. And ever is the promise to Allah [that about which one will be] questioned.
اور بیشک اس سے پہلے وہ اللہ سے عہد کرچکے تھے کہ پیٹھ نہ پھیریں گے، اور اللہ کا وعدہ پوچھا جائے گا
और (उस वक्त) अपने घरों में भी बहुत कम तवक्क़ुफ़ करेंगे (मगर ये तो जिहाद है) हालाँकि उन लोगों ने पहले ही खुदा से एहद किया था कि हम दुश्मन के मुक़ाबले में (अपनी) पीठ न फेरेंगे और खुदा के एहद की पूछगछ तो (एक न एक दिन) होकर रहेगी
Qul lany y anfa'akumul firaaru in farartum minal mawti awil qatli wa izal laa tumatta'oona illaa qaleelaa
Say, [O Muhammad], "Never will fleeing benefit you if you should flee from death or killing; and then [if you did], you would not be given enjoyment [of life] except for a little."
تم فرماؤ ہرگز تمہیں بھاگنا نفع نہ دے گا اگر موت یا قتل سے بھاگو اور جب بھی دنیا نہ برتنے دیے جاؤ گے مگر تھوڑی
(ऐ रसूल उनसे) कह दो कि अगर तुम मौत का क़त्ल (के ख़ौफ) से भागे भी तो (यह) भागना तुम्हें हरगिज़ कुछ भी मुफ़ीद न होगा और अगर तुम भागकर बच भी गए तो बस यही न की दुनिया में चन्द रोज़ा और चैनकर लो
Qul m an zal lazee ya'simukum minal laahi in araada bikum sooo'an aw araada bikum rahmah; wa laa yajidoona lahum min doonil laahi waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa
Say, "Who is it that can protect you from Allah if He intends for you an ill or intends for you a mercy?" And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or any helper.
تم فرماؤ وہ کون ہے جو اللہ کا حکم تم پر سے ٹال دے اگر وہ تمہارا برا چاہے یا تم پر مہر (رحم) فرمانا چاہے اور وہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی حامی نہ پائیں گے نہ مددگار،
(ऐ रसूल) तुम उनसे कह दो कि अगर खुदा तुम्हारे साथ बुराई का इरादा कर बैठे तो तुम्हें उसके (अज़ाब) से कौन ऐसा है जो बचाए या भलाई ही करना चाहे (तो कौन रोक सकता है) और ये लोग खुदा के सिवा न तो किसी को अपना सरपरस्त पाएँगे और न मद्दगार
Qad ya'lamul laahul mu'awwiqeena minkum walqaaa'ileena li ikhwaanihim hahumma ilainaa, wa laa yaatoonal baasa illaa qaleelaa
Already Allah knows the hinderers among you and those [hypocrites] who say to their brothers, "Come to us," and do not go to battle, except for a few,
بیشک اللہ جانتا ہے تمہارے ان کو جو اوروں کو جہاد سے روکتے ہیں اور اپنے بھائیوں سے کہتے ہیں ہماری طرف چلے آؤ اور لڑائی میں نہیں آتے مگر تھوڑے
तुममें से जो लोग (दूसरों को जिहाद से) रोकते हैं खुदा उनको खूब जानता है और (उनको भी खूब जानता है) जो अपने भाई बन्दों से कहते हैं कि हमारे पास चले भी आओ और खुद भी (फक़त पीछा छुड़ाने को लड़ाई के खेत) में बस एक ज़रा सा आकर तुमसे अपनी जान चुराई
Ashihhatan 'alaikum faizaa jaaa'al khawfu ra aytahum yanzuroona ilaika tadooru a'yunuhum kallazee yughshaa 'alaihi minal mawti fa izaa zahabal khawfu salqookum bi alsinatin hidaadin ashibbatan 'alal khayr; ulaaa'ika lam yu'minoo fa ahbatal laahu a'maalahum; wa kaana zaalika 'alal laahi yaseeraa
Indisposed toward you. And when fear comes, you see them looking at you, their eyes revolving like one being overcome by death. But when fear departs, they lash you with sharp tongues, indisposed toward [any] good. Those have not believed, so Allah has rendered their deeds worthless, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.
تمہاری مدد میں گئی کرتے (کمی کرتے) ہیں پھر جب ڈر کا وقت آئے تم انہیں دیکھو گے تمہاری طرف یوں نظر کرتے ہیں کہ ان کی آنکھیں گھوم رہی ہیں جیسے کسی پر موت چھائی ہو پھر جب ڈر کا وقت نکل جائے تمہیں طعنے دینے لگیں تیز زبانوں سے مال غنیمت کے لالچ میں یہ لوگ ایمان لائے ہی نہیں تو اللہ نے ان کے عمل اکارت کردیے اور یہ اللہ کو آسان ہے،
और चल दिए और जब (उन पर) कोई ख़ौफ (का मौक़ा) आ पड़ा तो देखते हो कि (आस से) तुम्हारी तरफ देखते हैं (और) उनकी ऑंखें इस तरह घूमती हैं जैसे किसी शख्स पर मौत की बेहोशी छा जाए फिर वह ख़ौफ (का मौक़ा) जाता रहा और ईमानदारों की फतेह हुई तो माले (ग़नीमत) पर गिरते पड़ते फौरन तुम पर अपनी तेज़ ज़बानों से ताना कसने लगे ये लोग (शुरू) से ईमान ही नहीं लाए (फक़त ज़बानी जमा ख़र्च थी) तो खुदा ने भी इनका किया कराया सब अकारत कर दिया और ये तो खुदा के वास्ते एक (निहायत) आसान बात थी
Yahsaboonal Ahzaaba lam yazhaboo wa iny yaatil Ahzaabu yawaddoo law annahum baadoona fil A'raabi yasaloona 'an ambaaa'ikum wa law kaanoo feekum maa qaatalooo illaa qaleela
They think the companies have not [yet] withdrawn. And if the companies should come [again], they would wish they were in the desert among the bedouins, inquiring [from afar] about your news. And if they should be among you, they would not fight except for a little.
وہ سمجھ رہے ہیں کہ کافروں کے لشکر ابھی نہ گئے اور اگر لشکر دوبارہ آئیں تو ان کی خواہش ہوگی کہ کسی طرح گا نؤں میں نکل کر تمہاری خبریں پوچھتے اور اگر وہ تم میں رہتے جب بھی نہ لڑتے مگر تھوڑے
(मदीने का मुहासेरा करने वाले चल भी दिए मगर) ये लोग अभी यही समझ रहे हैं कि (काफ़िरों के) लश्कर अभी नहीं गए और अगर कहीं (कुफ्फार का) लश्कर फिर आ पहुँचे तो ये लोग चाहेंगे कि काश वह जंगलों में गँवारों में जा बसते और (वहीं से बैठे बैठे) तुम्हारे हालात दरयाफ्त करते रहते और अगर उनको तुम लोगों में रहना पड़ता तो फ़क़त (पीछा छुड़ाने को) ज़रा ज़हूर (कहीं) लड़ते
Laqad kaana lakum fee Rasoolil laahi uswatun hasanatul liman kaana yarjul laaha wal yawmal Aakhira wa azkaral laaha kaseeraa
There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.
بیشک تمہیں رسول اللہ کی پیروی بہتر ہے اس کے لیے کہ اللہ اور پچھلے دن کی امید رکھتا ہو اور اللہ کو بہت یاد کرے
(मुसलमानों) तुम्हारे वास्ते तो खुद रसूल अल्लाह का (ख़न्दक़ में बैठना) एक अच्छा नमूना था (मगर हाँ यह) उस शख्स के वास्ते है जो खुदा और रोजे आखेरत की उम्मीद रखता हो और खुदा की याद बाकसरत करता हो
Wa lammaa ra al mu'minoonal Ahzaaba qaaloo haaza maa wa'adanal laahu wa Rasooluh; wa maa zaadahum illaaa eemaananw wa tasleemaa
And when the believers saw the companies, they said, "This is what Allah and His Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth." And it increased them only in faith and acceptance.
اور جب مسلمانوں نے کافروں کے لشکر دیکھے بولے یہ ہے وہ جو ہمیں وعدہ دیا تھا اللہ اور اس کے رسول نے اور سچ فرمایا اللہ اور اس کے رسول نے اور اس سے انہیں نہ بڑھا مگر ایمان اور اللہ کی رضا پر راضی ہونا،
और जब सच्चे ईमानदारों ने (कुफ्फार के) जमघटों को देखा तो (बेतकल्लुफ़) कहने लगे कि ये वही चीज़ तो है जिसका हम से खुदा ने और उसके रसूल ने वायदा किया था (इसकी परवाह क्या है) और खुदा ने और उसके रसूल ने बिल्कुल ठीक कहा था और (इसके देखने से) उनका ईमानदार और उनकी इताअत और भी ज़िन्दा हो गयी
Minal mu'mineena rijaalun sadaqoo maa 'aahadul laaha 'alaihi faminhum man qadaa nahbahoo wa minhum mai yantaziru wa maa baddaloo tabdeelaa
Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration -
مسلمانوں میں کچھ وہ مرد ہیں جنہوں نے سچا کردیا جو عہد اللہ سے کیا تھا تو ان میں کوئی اپنی منت پوری کرچکا اور کوئی راہ دیکھ رہا ہے اور وہ ذرا نہ بدلے
ईमानदारों में से कुछ लोग ऐसे भी हैं कि खुदा से उन्होंने (जॉनिसारी का) जो एहद किया था उसे पूरा कर दिखाया ग़रज़ उनमें से बाज़ वह हैं जो (मर कर) अपना वक्त पूरा कर गए और उनमें से बाज़ (हुक्मे खुदा के) मुन्तज़िर बैठे हैं और उन लोगों ने (अपनी बात) ज़रा भी नहीं बदली
Li yajziyal aahus saadiqeena bisidqihim wa yu'azzibal munaafiqeena in shaaa'a aw yatooba 'alaihim; innal laaha kaana Ghafoorar Raheemaa
That Allah may reward the truthful for their truth and punish the hypocrites if He wills or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
تاکہ اللہ سچوں کو ان کے سچ کا صلہ دے اور منافقوں کو عذاب کرے اگر چاہے، یا انہیں توبہ دے، بیشک اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے،
ये इम्तेहान इसलिए था ताकि खुद सच्चे (ईमानदारों) को उनकी सच्चाई की जज़ाए ख़ैर दे और अगर चाहे तो मुनाफेक़ीन की सज़ा करे या (अगर वह लागे तौबा करें तो) खुदा उनकी तौबा कुबूल फरमाए इसमें शक नहीं कि खुदा बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है
Wa raddal laahul lazeena kafaroo bighaizihim lam yanaaloo khairaa; wa kafal laahul mu'mineenal qitaal; wa kaanal laahu Qawiyyan 'Azeezaa
And Allah repelled those who disbelieved, in their rage, not having obtained any good. And sufficient was Allah for the believers in battle, and ever is Allah Powerful and Exalted in Might.
اور اللہ نے کافروں کو ان کے دلوں کی جلن کے ساتھ پلٹایا کہ کچھ بھلا نہ پایا اور اللہ نے مسلمانوں کو لڑائی کی کفایت فرمادی اور اللہ زبردست عزت والا ہے،
और खुदा ने (अपनी कुदरत से) क़ाफिरों को मदीने से फेर दिया (और वह लोग) अपनी झुंझलाहट में (फिर गए) और इन्हें कुछ फायदे भी न हुआ और खुदा ने (अपनी मेहरबानी से) मोमिनीन को लड़ने की नौबत न आने दी और खुदा तो (बड़ा) ज़बरदस्त (और) ग़ालिब हैं
Wa anzalal lazeena zaaha roohum min Ahlil Kitaabi min sa yaaseehim wa qazafa fee quloobihimm mur ru'ba freeqan taqtuloona wa taasiroona fareeqaaa
And He brought down those who supported them among the People of the Scripture from their fortresses and cast terror into their hearts [so that] a party you killed, and you took captive a party.
اور جن اہلِ کتاب نے ان کی مدد کی تھی انہیں ان کے قلعوں سے اتارا اور ان کے دلوں میں رُعب ڈالا ان میں ایک گروہ کو تم قتل کرتے ہو اور ایک گروہ کو قید
और अहले किताब में से जिन लोगों (बनी कुरैज़ा) ने उन (कुफ्फार) की मदद की थी खुदा उनको उनके क़िलों से (बेदख़ल करके) नीचे उतार लाया और उनके दिलों में (तुम्हारा) ऐसा रोब बैठा दिया कि तुम उनके कुछ लोगों को क़त्ल करने लगे
Wa awrasakum ardahum wa diyaarahum wa amwaalahum wa ardal lam tata'oohaa; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeeraa
And He caused you to inherit their land and their homes and their properties and a land which you have not trodden. And ever is Allah, over all things, competent.
اور ہم نے تمہارے ہاتھ لگائے ان کی زمین اور ان کی زمین اور ان کے مکان اور ان کے مال اور وہ زمین جس پر تم نے ابھی قدم نہیں رکھا ہے اور اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے،
और कुछ को क़ैदी (और गुलाम) बनाने और तुम ही लोगों को उनकी ज़मीन और उनके घर और उनके माल और उस ज़मीन (खैबर) का खुदा ने मालिक बना दिया जिसमें तुमने क़दम तक नहीं रखा था और खुदा तो हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर वतवाना है
Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu qul li azwaajika i kuntunna turidnal hayaatad dunyaa wa zeenatahaa fata'aalaina umatti'kunna wa usarrihkunna saraahan jameela
O Prophet, say to your wives, "If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and give you a gracious release.
اے غیب بتانے والے (نبی)! اپنی بیبیوں سے فرمادے اگر تم دنیا کی زندگی اور اس کی آرائش چاہتی ہو تو آؤ میں تمہیں مال دُوں اور اچھی طرح چھوڑ دُوں
ऐ रसूल अपनी बीवियों से कह दो कि अगर तुम (फक़त) दुनियावी ज़िन्दगी और उसकी आराइश व ज़ीनत की ख्वाहॉ हो तो उधर आओ मैं तुम लोगों को कुछ साज़ो सामान दे दूँ और उनवाने शाइस्ता से रूख़सत कर दूँ
Wa in kuntunna turidnal laaha wa Rasoolahoo wad Daaral Aakhirata fa innal laaha a'adda lil muhsinaati min kunna ajjran 'azeemaa
But if you should desire Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter - then indeed, Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a great reward."
اور اگر تم اللہ اور اس کے رسول اور آخرت کا گھر چاہتی ہو تو بیشک اللہ نے تمہاری نیکی والیوں کے لیے بڑا اجر تیار کر رکھا ہے،
और अगर तुम लोग खुदा और उसके रसूल और आखेरत के घर की ख्वाहॉ हो तो (अच्छी तरह ख्याल रखो कि) तुम लोगों में से नेकोकार औरतों के लिए खुदा ने यक़ीनन् बड़ा (बड़ा) अज्र व (सवाब) मुहय्या कर रखा है
Yaa nisaaa'an Nabiyyi mai yaati minkunna bifaa hishatim mubaiyinatiny yudaa'af lahal 'azaabu di'fain wa kaana zaalika 'alal laahi yaseera
O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you should commit a clear immorality - for her the punishment would be doubled two fold, and ever is that, for Allah, easy.
اے نبی کی بیبیو! جو تم میں صریح حیا کے خلاف کوئی جرأت کرے اس پر اوروں سے دُونا عذاب ہوگا اور یہ اللہ کو آسان ہے،
ऐ पैग़म्बर की बीबियों तुममें से जो कोई किसी सरीही ना शाइस्ता हरकत की का मुरतिब हुई तो (याद रहे कि) उसका अज़ाब भी दुगना बढ़ा दिया जाएगा और खुदा के वास्ते (निहायत) आसान है
Wa mai yaqnut minkunna lillaahi wa Rasoolihee wa ta'mal saalihan nu'tihaaa ajrahaa marratayni wa a'tadnaa lahaa rizqan kareema
And whoever of you devoutly obeys Allah and His Messenger and does righteousness - We will give her her reward twice; and We have prepared for her a noble provision.
اور جو تم میں فرمانبردار رہے اللہ اور رسول کی اور اچھا کام کرے ہم اسے اوروں سے دُونا ثواب دیں گے اور ہم نے اس کے لیے عزت کی روزی تیار کر رکھی ہے
और तुममें से जो (बीवी) खुदा और उसके रसूल की ताबेदारी अच्छे (अच्छे) काम करेगी उसको हम उसका सवाब भी दोहरा अता करेगें और हमने उसके लिए (जन्नत में) इज्ज़त की रोज़ी तैयार कर रखी है
Yaa nisaaa'an Nabiyyi lastunna ka ahadim minan nisaaa'i init taqaitunna falaa takhda'na bilqawli fa yatma'al lazee fee qalbihee maradunw wa qulna qawlam ma'roofaa
O wives of the Prophet, you are not like anyone among women. If you fear Allah, then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech.
اے نبی کی بیبیو! تم اور عورتوں کی طرح نہیں ہو اگر اللہ سے ڈرو تو بات میں ایسی نرمی نہ کرو کہ دل کا روگی کچھ لالچ کرے ہاں اچھی بات کہو
ऐ नबी की बीवियों तुम और मामूली औरतों की सी तो हो वही (बस) अगर तुम को परहेज़गारी मंजूर रहे तो (अजनबी आदमी से) बात करने में नरम नरम (लगी लिपटी) बात न करो ताकि जिसके दिल में (शहवते ज़िना का) मर्ज़ है वह (कुछ और) इरादा (न) करे
Wa qarna fee bu yoo tikunna wa laa tabarrajna tabarrujal Jaahiliyyatil oolaa wa aqimnas Salaata w aaateenaz Zakaata wa ati'nal laaha wa Rasoolah; innamaa yureedul laahu liyuzhiba 'ankumur rijsa Ahlal Bayti wa yutahhirakum tatheeraa
And abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet's] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification.
اور اپنے گھروں میں ٹھہری رہو اور بے پردہ نہ رہو جیسے اگلی جاہلیت کی بے پردگی اور نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کا حکم مانو ا لله تو یہی چاہتا ہے، اے نبی کے گھر والو! کہ تم سے ہر ناپاکی دور فرما دے اور تمہیں پاک کرکے خوب ستھرا کردے
और (साफ-साफ) उनवाने शाइस्ता से बात किया करो और अपने घरों में निचली बैठी रहो और अगले ज़माने जाहिलियत की तरह अपना बनाव सिंगार न दिखाती फिरो और पाबन्दी से नमाज़ पढ़ा करो और (बराबर) ज़कात दिया करो और खुदा और उसके रसूल की इताअत करो ऐ (पैग़म्बर के) अहले बैत खुदा तो बस ये चाहता है कि तुमको (हर तरह की) बुराई से दूर रखे और जो पाक व पाकीज़ा दिखने का हक़ है वैसा पाक व पाकीज़ा रखे
Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women, the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember Allah often and the women who do so - for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.
بیشک مسلمان مرد اور مسلمان عورتیں اور ایمان والے اور ایمان والیاں اور فرمانبردار اور فرمانبرداریں اور سچے اور سچیاں اور صبر والے اور صبر والیاں اور عاجزی کرنے والے اور عاجزی کرنے والیاں اور خیرات کرنے والے اور خیرات کرنے والیاں اور روزے والے اورروزے والیاں اور اپنی پارسائی نگاہ رکھنے والے اور نگاہ رکھنے والیاں اور اللہ کو بہت یاد کرنے والے اور یاد کرنے والیاں ان سب کے لیے اس نے بخشش اور بڑا ثواب تیار کر رکھا ہے،
(दिल लगा के सुनो) मुसलमान मर्द और मुसलमान औरतें और ईमानदार मर्द और ईमानदार औरतें और फरमाबरदार मर्द और फरमाबरदार औरतें और रास्तबाज़ मर्द और रास्तबाज़ औरतें और सब्र करने वाले मर्द और सब्र करने वाली औरतें और फिरौतनी करने वाले मर्द और फिरौतनी करने वाली औरतें और Âैरात करने वाले मर्द और Âैरात करने वाली औरतें और रोज़ादार मर्द और रोज़ादार औरतें और अपनी शर्मगाहों की हिफाज़त करने वाले मर्द और हिफाज़त करने वाली औरतें और खुदा की बकसरत याद करने वाले मर्द और याद करने वाली औरतें बेशक इन सब लोगों के वास्ते खुदा ने मग़फिरत और (बड़ा) सवाब मुहैय्या कर रखा है
Wa maa kaana limu'mininw wa laa mu'minatin izaa qadal laahu wa Rasooluhooo amran ai yakoona lahumul khiyaratu min amrihim; wa mai ya'sil laaha wa Rasoolahoo faqad dalla dalaalam mubeenaa
It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.
اور نہ کسی مسلمان مرد نہ مسلمان عورت کو پہنچتا ہے کہ جب اللہ و رسول کچھ حکم فرمادیں تو انہیں اپنے معاملہ کا کچھ اختیار رہے اور جو حکم نہ مانے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کا وہ بیشک صر یح گمراہی بہکا،
और न किसी ईमानदार मर्द को ये मुनासिब है और न किसी ईमानदार औरत को जब खुदा और उसके रसूल किसी काम का हुक्म दें तो उनको अपने उस काम (के करने न करने) अख़तेयार हो और (याद रहे कि) जिस शख्स ने खुदा और उसके रसूल की नाफरमानी की वह यक़ीनन खुल्लम खुल्ला गुमराही में मुब्तिला हो चुका
Wa iz taqoolu lillazeee an'amal laahu 'alaihi wa an'amta 'alaihi amsik 'alaika zawjaka wattaqil laaha wa tukhfee fee nafsika mal laahu mubdeehi wa takhshan naasa wallaahu ahaqqu an takhshaah; falammaa qadaa Zaidum minhaa wataran zawwajnaa kahaa likay laa yakoona 'alal mu'mineena harajun feee azwaaji ad'iyaaa'ihim izaa qadaw minhunna wataraa; wa kaana amrul laahi af'oolaa
And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished.
اور اے محبوب! یاد کرو جب تم فرماتے تھے اس سے جسے اللہ نے اسے نعمت دی اور تم نے اسے نعمت دی کہ اپنی بی بی اپنے پاس رہنے دے اور اللہ سے ڈر اور تم اپنے دل میں رکھتے تھے وہ جسے اللہ کو ظاہر کرنا منظور تھا اور تمہیں لوگوں کے طعنہ کا اندیشہ تھا اور اللہ زیادہ سزاوار ہے کہ اس کا خوف رکھو پھر جب زید کی غرض اس سے نکل گئی تو ہم نے وہ تمہارے نکاح میں دے دی کہ مسلمانوں پر کچھ حرج نہ رہے ان کے لے پالکوں (منہ بولے بیٹوں) کی بیبیوں میں جب ان سے ان کا کام ختم ہوجائے اور اللہ کا حکم ہوکر رہنا،
और (ऐ रसूल वह वक्त याद करो) जब तुम उस शख्स (ज़ैद) से कह रहे थे जिस पर खुदा ने एहसान (अलग) किया था और तुमने उस पर (अलग) एहसान किया था कि अपनी बीबी (ज़ैनब) को अपनी ज़ौज़ियत में रहने दे और खुदा से डेर खुद तुम इस बात को अपने दिल में छिपाते थे जिसको (आख़िरकार) खुदा ज़ाहिर करने वाला था और तुम लोगों से डरते थे हालॉकि खुदा इसका ज्यादा हक़दार है कि तुम उस से डरो ग़रज़ जब ज़ैद अपनी हाजत पूरी कर चुका (तलाक़ दे दी) तो हमने (हुक्म देकर) उस औरत (ज़ैनब) का निकाह तुमसे कर दिया ताकि आम मोमिनीन को अपने ले पालक लड़कों की बीवियों (से निकाह करने) में जब वह अपना मतलब उन औरतों से पूरा कर चुकें (तलाक़ दे दें) किसी तरह की तंगी न रहे और खुदा का हुक्म तो किया कराया हुआ (क़तई) होता है
Maa kaana 'alan nabiyyyi min harajin feemaa faradal laahu lahoo sunnatal laahi fil lazeena khalaw min qabl; wa kaana amrul laahi qadaram maqdooraa
There is not to be upon the Prophet any discomfort concerning that which Allah has imposed upon him. [This is] the established way of Allah with those [prophets] who have passed on before. And ever is the command of Allah a destiny decreed.
نبی پر کوئی حرج نہیں اس بات میں جو اللہ نے اس کے لیے مقرر فرمائی اللہ کا دستور چلا آرہا ہے اس میں جو پہلے گزر چکے اور اللہ کا کام مقرر تقدیر ہے
जो हुक्म खुदा ने पैग़म्बर पर फर्ज क़र दिया (उसके करने) में उस पर कोई मुज़ाएका नहीं जो लोग (उनसे) पहले गुज़र चुके हैं उनके बारे में भी खुदा का (यही) दस्तूर (जारी) रहा है (कि निकाह में तंगी न की) और खुदा का हुक्म तो (ठीक अन्दाज़े से) मुक़र्रर हुआ होता है
Allazeena yuballighoona Risaalaatil laahi wa yakhshaw nahoo wa laa yakkhshawna ahadan illal laah; wa kafaa billaahi Haseebaa
[Allah praises] those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.
وہ جو اللہ کے پیام پہنچاتے اور اس سے ڈرتے اور اللہ کے سوا کسی کا خوف نہ کرے، اور اللہ بس ہے حساب لینے والا
वह लोग जो खुदा के पैग़ामों को (लोगों तक जूँ का तूँ) पहुँचाते थे और उससे डरते थे और खुदा के सिवा किसी से नहीं डरते थे (फिर तुम क्यों डरते हो) और हिसाब लेने के वास्ते तो खुद काफ़ी है
Maa kaana Muhammmadun abaaa ahadim mir rijaalikum wa laakir Rasoolal laahi wa Khaataman Nabiyyeen; wa kaanal laahu bikulli shai'in 'Aleema
Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing.
محمد تمہارے مردوں میں کسی کے باپ نہیں ہاں اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور سب نبیوں کے پچھلے اور اللہ سب کچھ جانتا ہے،
(लोगों) मोहम्मद तुम्हारे मर्दों में से (हक़ीक़तन) किसी के बाप नहीं हैं (फिर जैद की बीवी क्यों हराम होने लगी) बल्कि अल्लाह के रसूल और नबियों की मोहर (यानी ख़त्म करने वाले) हैं और खुदा तो हर चीज़ से खूब वाक़िफ है
Huwal lazee yusallee 'alaikum wa malaaa'ikatuhoo liyukhrijakum minazzulumaati ilan-noor wa kaana bilmu'mineena Raheemaa
It is He who confers blessing upon you, and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.
وہی ہے کہ درود بھیجتا ہے تم پر وہ اور اس کے فرشتے کہ تمہیں اندھیریوں سے اجالے کی طرف نکالے اور وہ مسلمانوں پر مہربان ہے،
वह वही तो है जो खुद तुमपर दूरूद (दर्दों रहमत) भेजता है और उसके फ़रिश्ते ताकि तुमको (कुफ़्र की) तारीक़ियों से निकालकर (ईमान की) रौशनी में ले जाए और खुदा ईमानवालों पर बड़ा मेहरबान है
Tahiyyatuhum Yawma yalqawnahoo salaamunw wa a'adda lahum ajran kareemaa
Their greeting the Day they meet Him will be, "Peace." And He has prepared for them a noble reward.
ان کے لیے ملتے وقت کی دعا سلام ہے اور ان کے لیے عزت کا ثواب تیار کر رکھا ہے،
जिस दिन उसकी बारगाह में हाज़िर होंगे (उस दिन) उनकी मुरादात (उसकी तरफ से हर क़िस्म की) सलामती होगी और खुदा ने तो उनके वास्ते बहुत अच्छा बदला (बेहश्त) तैयार रखा है
Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanooo izaa nakahtumul mu'minaati summa tallaqtu moohunna min qabli an tamas soohunna famaa lakum 'alaihinna min 'iddatin ta'taddoonahaa famatti'oohunna wa sarri hoohunna saraahan jameelaa
O You who have believed, when you marry believing women and then divorce them before you have touched them, then there is not for you any waiting period to count concerning them. So provide for them and give them a gracious release.
اے ایمان والو! جب تم مسلمان عورتوں سے نکاح کرو پھر انہیں بے ہاتھ لگائے چھوڑ دو تو تمہارے لیے کچھ عدت نہیں جسے گنو تو انہیں کچھ فائدہ دو اور اچھی طرح سے چھوڑ دو
ऐ ईमानवालों जब तुम मोमिना औरतों से (बग़ैर मेहर मुक़र्रर किये) निकाह करो उसके बाद उन्हें अपने हाथ लगाने से पहले ही तलाक़ दे दो तो फिर तुमको उनपर कोई हक़ नहीं कि (उनसे) इद्दा पूरा कराओ उनको तो कुछ (कपड़े रूपये वग़ैरह) देकर उनवाने शाइस्ता से रूख़सत कर दो
Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu innaaa ahlalnaa laka azwaa jakal laatee aayaita ujoora hunna wa maa malakat yameenuka mimmaaa afaaa'al laahu 'alaika wa banaati 'ammika wa banaati 'ammaatika wa banaati khaalika wa banaati khaalaa tikal laatee haajarna ma'aka wamra atam mu'minatan inw wahabat nafsahaa lin Nabiyyi in araadan Nabiyyu ai yastan kihahaa khaalisatal laka min doonil mu'mineen; qad 'alim naa maa faradnaa 'alaihim feee azwaajihim wa maa malakat aimaanuhum likailaa yakoona 'alaika haraj; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
اے غیب بتانے والے (نبی)! ہم نے تمہارے لیے حلال فرمائیں تمہاری وہ بیبیاں جن کو تم مہر دو اور تمہارے ہاتھ کا مال کنیزیں جو اللہ نے تمہیں غنیمت میں دیں اور تمہارے چچا کی بیٹیاں اور پھپیوں کی بیٹیاں اور ماموں کی بیٹیاں اور خالاؤں کی بیٹیاں جنہوں نے تمہارے ساتھ ہجرت کی اور ایمان والی عورت اگر وہ اپنی جان نبی کی نذر کرے اگر نبی اسے نکاح میں لانا چاہے یہ خاص تمہارے لیے ہہے امت کے لیے نہیں ہمیں معلوم ہے جو ہم نے مسلمانوں پر مقرر کیا ہے ان کی بیبیوں اور ان کے ہاتھ کی مال کنیزوں میں یہ خصوصیت تمہاری اس لیے کہ تم پر کوئی تنگی نہ ہو، اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان،
ऐ नबी हमने तुम्हारे वास्ते तुम्हारी उन बीवियों को हलाल कर दिया है जिनको तुम मेहर दे चुके हो और तुम्हारी उन लौंडियों को (भी) जो खुदा ने तुमको (बग़ैर लड़े-भिड़े) माले ग़नीमत में अता की है और तुम्हारे चचा की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारी फूफियों की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारे मामू की बेटियाँ और तुम्हारी ख़ालाओं की बेटियाँ जो तुम्हारे साथ हिजरत करके आयी हैं (हलाल कर दी और हर ईमानवाली औरत (भी हलाल कर दी) अगर वह अपने को (बग़ैर मेहर) नबी को दे दें और नबी भी उससे निकाह करना चाहते हों मगर (ऐ रसूल) ये हुक्म सिर्फ तुम्हारे वास्ते ख़ास है और मोमिनीन के लिए नहीं और हमने जो कुछ (मेहर या क़ीमत) आम मोमिनीन पर उनकी बीवियों और उनकी लौंडियों के बारे में मुक़र्रर कर दिया है हम खूब जानते हैं और (तुम्हारी रिआयत इसलिए है) ताकि तुमको (बीवियों की तरफ से) कोई दिक्क़त न हो और खुदा तो बड़ा बख़शने वाला मेहरबान है
Turjee man tashaaa'u minhunna wa tu'weee ilaika man tashaaa'u wa manibta ghaita mimman 'azalta falaa junaaha 'alaik; zaalika adnaaa an taqarra a'yunuhunna wa laa yahzanna wa yardaina bimaa aataitahunna kulluhunn; wal laahu ya'lamu maa fee quloo bikum; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman haleemaa
You, [O Muhammad], may put aside whom you will of them or take to yourself whom you will. And any that you desire of those [wives] from whom you had [temporarily] separated - there is no blame upon you [in returning her]. That is more suitable that they should be content and not grieve and that they should be satisfied with what you have given them - all of them. And Allah knows what is in your hearts. And ever is Allah Knowing and Forbearing.
پیچھے ہٹاؤ ان میں سے جسے چاہو اور اپنے پاس جگہ دو جسے چاہو اور جسے تم نے کنارے کردیا تھا اسے تمہارا جی چاہے تو اس میں بھی تم پر کچھ گناہ نہیں یہ امر اس سے نزدیک تر ہے کہ ان کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوں اور غم نہ کریں اور تم انہیں جو کچھ عطا فرماؤ اس پر وہ سب کی سب راضی رہیں اور اللہ جانتا ہے جو تم سب کے دلوں میں ہے، اور اللہ علم و حلم والا ہے،
इनमें से जिसको (जब) चाहो अलग कर दो और जिसको (जब तक) चाहो अपने पास रखो और जिन औरतों को तुमने अलग कर दिया था अगर फिर तुम उनके ख्वाहॉ हो तो भी तुम पर कोई मज़ाएक़ा नहीं है ये (अख़तेयार जो तुमको दिया गया है) ज़रूर इस क़ाबिल है कि तुम्हारी बीवियों की ऑंखें ठन्डी रहे और आर्जूदा ख़ातिर न हो और वो कुछ तुम उन्हें दे दो सबकी सब उस पर राज़ी रहें और जो कुछ तुम्हारे दिलों में है खुदा उसको ख़ुब जानता है और खुदा तो बड़ा वाक़िफकार बुर्दबार है
Laa yahillu lakan nisaaa'u mim ba'du wa laaa an tabaddala bihinna min azwaajinw wa law ajabaka husnuhunna illaa maa malakat yameenukk; wa kaanal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'ir Raqeeba
Not lawful to you, [O Muhammad], are [any additional] women after [this], nor [is it] for you to exchange them for [other] wives, even if their beauty were to please you, except what your right hand possesses. And ever is Allah, over all things, an Observer.
ان کے بعد اور عورتیں تمہیں حلال نہیں اور نہ یہ کہ ان کے عوض اور بیبیاں بدلو اگرچہ تمہیں ان کا حسن بھائے مگر کنیز تمہارے ہاتھ کا مالک اور اللہ ہر چیز پر نگہبان ہے،
(ऐ रसूल) अब उन (नौ) के बाद (और) औरतें तुम्हारे वास्ते हलाल नहीं और न ये जायज़ है कि उनके बदले उनमें से किसी को छोड़कर और बीबियाँ कर लो अगर चे तुमको उनका हुस्न कैसा ही भला (क्यों न) मालूम हो मगर तुम्हारी लौंडियाँ (इस के बाद भी जायज़ हैं) और खुदा तो हर चीज़ का निगरॉ है
Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tadkhuloo bu yootan Nabiyyi ilaaa ai yu'zana lakum ilaa ta'aamin ghaira naazireena inaahu wa laakin izaa du'eetum fadkhuloo fa izaa ta'imtum fantashiroo wa laa mustaaniseena lihadees; inna zaalikum kaana yu'zin Nabiyya fa yastahyee minkum wallaahu laa yastahyee minal haqq; wa izaa sa altumoohunna mataa'an fas'aloohunna minw waraaa'i hijaab; zaalikum atharu liquloobikum wa quloobihinn; wa maa kaana lakum an tu'zoo Rasoolal laahi wa laaa an tankihooo azwaajahoo mim ba'diheee abadaa; inna zaalikum kaana 'indal laahi 'azeema
O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter; and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and he is shy of [dismissing] you. But Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you ask [his wives] for something, ask them from behind a partition. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not [conceivable or lawful] for you to harm the Messenger of Allah or to marry his wives after him, ever. Indeed, that would be in the sight of Allah an enormity.
اے ایمان والو! نبی کے گھروں میں نہ حاضر ہو جب تک اذن نہ پاؤ مثلاً کھانے کے لیے بلائے جاؤ نہ یوں کہ خود اس کے پکنے کی راہ تکو ہاں جب بلائے جاؤ تو حاضر ہو اور جب کھا چکو تو متفرق ہوجاؤ نہ یہ کہ بیٹھے باتوں میں دل بہلاؤ بیشک اس میں نبی کو ایذا ہوتی تھی تو وہ تمہارا لحاظ فرماتے تھے اور اللہ حق فرمانے میں نہیں شرماتا، اور جب تم ان سے برتنے کی کوئی چیز مانگو تو پردے کے باہر مانگو، اس میں زیادہ ستھرائی ہے تمہارے دلوں اور ان کے دلوں کی اور تمہیں نہیں پہنچتا کہ رسول اللہ کو ایذا دو اور نہ یہ کہ ان کے بعد کبھی ان کی بیبیوں سے نکاح کرو بیشک یہ اللہ کے نزدیک بڑی سخت بات ہے
ऐ ईमानदारों तुम लोग पैग़म्बर के घरों में न जाया करो मगर जब तुमको खाने के वास्ते (अन्दर आने की) इजाज़त दी जाए (लेकिन) उसके पकने का इन्तेज़ार (नबी के घर बैठकर) न करो मगर जब तुमको बुलाया जाए तो (ठीक वक्त पर) जाओ और फिर जब खा चुको तो (फौरन अपनी अपनी जगह) चले जाया करो और बातों में न लग जाया करो क्योंकि इससे पैग़म्बर को अज़ीयत होती है तो वह तुम्हारा लैहाज़ करते हैं और खुदा तो ठीक (ठीक कहने) से झेंपता नहीं और जब पैग़म्बर की बीवियों से कुछ माँगना हो तो पर्दे के बाहर से माँगा करो यही तुम्हारे दिलों और उनके दिलों के वास्ते बहुत सफाई की बात है और तुम्हारे वास्ते ये जायज़ नहीं कि रसूले खुदा को (किसी तरह) अज़ीयत दो और न ये जायज़ है कि तुम उसके बाद कभी उनकी बीवियों से निकाह करो बेशक ये ख़ुदा के नज़दीक बड़ा (गुनाह) है
Laa junaaha 'alaihinna feee aabaaa'ihinna wa laaa abnaaa'ihinna wa laaa ikhwaanihinnna wa laaa abnaaa'i ikhwaanihinna wa laaa abnaaa'i akhawaatihinna wa laa nisaaa'i hinna wa laa Maa malakat aimaanuhunn; wattaqeenal laah; innal laaha kaana 'alaa kulli shai'in Shaheedaa
There is no blame upon women concerning their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons or their women or those their right hands possess. And fear Allah. Indeed Allah is ever, over all things, Witness.
ان پر مضائقہ نہیں ان کے باپ اور بیٹوں اور بھائیوں اور بھتیجوں اور بھانجوں اور اپنے دین کی عورتوں اور اپنی کنیزوں میں اور اللہ سے ڈرتی ہو، بیشک اللہ ہر چیز اللہ کے سامنے ہے،
औरतों पर न अपने बाप दादाओं (के सामने होने) में कुछ गुनाह है और न अपने बेटों के और न अपने भाईयों के और न अपने भतीजों के और अपने भांजों के और न अपनी (क़िस्म कि) औरतों के और न अपनी लौंडियों के सामने होने में कुछ गुनाह है (ऐ पैग़म्बर की बीबियों) तुम लोग खुदा से डरती रहो इसमें कोई शक ही नहीं की खुदा (तुम्हारे आमाल में) हर चीज़ से वाक़िफ़ है
Innal laaha wa malaaa'i katahoo yusalloona 'alan Nabiyy; yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo salloo 'alaihi wa sallimoo tasleemaa
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.
بیشک اللہ اور اس کے فرشتے درود بھیجتے ہیں اس غیب بتانے والے (نبی) پر، اے ایمان والو! ان پر درود اور خوب سلام بھیجو
इसमें भी शक नहीं कि खुदा और उसके फरिश्ते पैग़म्बर (और उनकी आल) पर दुरूद भेजते हैं तो ऐ ईमानदारों तुम भी दुरूद भेजते रहो और बराबर सलाम करते रहो
Innal lazeena yu'zoonal laaha wa Rasoolahoo la'anahumul laahu fid dunyaa wal Aakhirati wa a'adda lahum 'azaabam muheenaa
Indeed, those who abuse Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a humiliating punishment.
بیشک جو ایذا دیتے ہیں اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو ان پر اللہ کی لعنت ہے دنیا اور آخرت میں اور اللہ نے ان کے لیے ذلت کا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے
बेशक जो लोग खुदा को और उसके रसूल को अज़ीयत देते हैं उन पर खुदा ने दुनिया और आखेरत (दोनों) में लानत की है और उनके लिए रूसवाई का अज़ाब तैयार कर रखा है
And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something] other than what they have earned have certainly born upon themselves a slander and manifest sin.
اور جو ایمان والے مردوں اور عورتوں کو بے کئے ستاتے ہیں انہوں نے بہتان اور کھلا گناہ اپنے سر لیا
और जो लोग ईमानदार मर्द और ईमानदार औरतों को बगैर कुछ किए द्दरे (तोहमत देकर) अज़ीयत देते हैं तो वह एक बोहतान और सरीह गुनाह का बोझ (अपनी गर्दन पर) उठाते हैं
Yaaa aiyuhan Nabiyyu qul li azwaajika wa banaatika wa nisaaa'il mu'mineena yudneena 'alaihinna min jalaabee bihinn; zaalika adnaaa ai yu'rafna falaa yu'zain; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheemaa
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
اے نبی! اپنی بیبیوں اور صاحبزادیو ں اور مسلمانوں کی عورتوں سے فرمادو کہ اپنی چادروں کا ایک حصہ اپنے منہ پر ڈالے رہیں یہ اس سے نزدیک تر ہے کہ ان کی پہچان ہو تو ستائی نہ جائیں اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے،
ऐ नबी अपनी बीवियों और अपनी लड़कियों और मोमिनीन की औरतों से कह दो कि (बाहर निकलते वक्त) अपने (चेहरों और गर्दनों) पर अपनी चादरों का घूंघट लटका लिया करें ये उनकी (शराफ़त की) पहचान के वास्ते बहुत मुनासिब है तो उन्हें कोई छेड़ेगा नहीं और खुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है
If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease and those who spread rumors in al-Madinah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little.
اگر باز نہ آئے منافق اور جن کے دلوں میں روگ ہے اور مدینہ میں جھوٹ اڑانے والے تو ضرور ہم تمہیں ان پر شہ دیں گے پھر وہ مدینہ میں تمہارے پاس نہ رہیں گے مگر تھوڑے دن
ऐ रसूल मुनाफेक़ीन और वह लोग जिनके दिलों में (कुफ़्र का) मर्ज़ है और जो लोग मदीने में बुरी ख़बरें उड़ाया करते हैं- अगर ये लोग (अपनी शरारतों से) बाज़ न आएंगें तो हम तुम ही को (एक न एक दिन) उन पर मुसल्लत कर देगें फिर वह तुम्हारे पड़ोस में चन्द रोज़ों के सिवा ठहरने (ही) न पाएँगे
yaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo las takoonoo kalla zeena aazaw Moosaa fa barra ahul laahu mimmmaa qaaloo; wa kaana 'indal laahi wajeehaa
O you who have believed, be not like those who abused Moses; then Allah cleared him of what they said. And he, in the sight of Allah, was distinguished.
اے ایمان والو! ان جیسے نہ ہونا جنہوں نے موسیٰ کو ستایا تو اللہ نے اسے بَری فرمادیا اس بات سے جو انہوں نے کہی اور موسیٰ اللہ کے یہاں آبرو والا ہے
ऐ ईमानवालों (ख़बरदार कहीं) तुम लोग भी उनके से न हो जाना जिन्होंने मूसा को तकलीफ दी तो खुदा ने उनकी तोहमतों से मूसा को बरी कर दिया और मूसा खुदा के नज़दीक एक रवादार (इज्ज़त करने वाले) (पैग़म्बर) थे
Yuslih lakum a'maalakum wa yaghfir lakum zunoobakum; wa mai yuti'il laaha wa Rasoolahoo faqad faaza fawzan 'azeemaa
He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.
تمہارے اعمال تمہارے لیے سنواردے گا اور تمہارے گناہ بخش دے گا، اور جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی فرمانبرداری کرے اس نے بڑی کامیابی پائی،
तो खुदा तुम्हारी कारगुज़ारियों को दुरूस्त कर देगा और तुम्हारे गुनाह बख्श देगा और जिस शख्स ने खुदा और उसके रसूल की इताअत की वह तो अपनी मुराद को खूब अच्छी तरह पहुँच गया
Innaa 'aradnal amaanata 'alas samaawaati walardi wal jibaali fa abaina ai yahmil nahaa wa ashfaqna minhaa wa hamalahal insaanu innahoo kaana zalooman jahoolaa
Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.
بیشک ہم نے امانت پیش فرمائی آسمانوں اور زمین اور پہاڑوں پر تو انہوں نے اس کے اٹھانے سے انکار کیا اور اس سے ڈر گئے اور آدمی نے اٹھالی، بیشک وہ اپنی جان کو مشقت میں ڈالنے والا بڑا نادان ہے،
बेशक हमने (रोज़े अज़ल) अपनी अमानत (इताअत इबादत) को सारे आसमान और ज़मीन पहाड़ों के सामने पेश किया तो उन्होंने उसके (बार) उठाने से इन्कार किया और उससे डर गए और आदमी ने उसे (बे ताम्मुल) उठा लिया बेशक इन्सान (अपने हक़ में) बड़ा ज़ालिम (और) नादान है
Liyu 'azzibal laahul munaafiqeena wal munaafiqaati walmushrikeena wal mushrikaati wa yatoobal laahu 'alal mu'mineena walmu'minaat; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema
[It was] so that Allah may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the men and women who associate others with Him and that Allah may accept repentance from the believing men and believing women. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
تاکہ اللہ عذاب منافق مردوں اور منافق عورتوں اور مشرک مردوں اور مشرک عورتوں کو اور اللہ توبہ قبول فرمائے مسلمان مردوں اور مسلمان عورتوں کی، اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے،
इसका नतीजा यह हुआ कि खुदा मुनाफिक़ मर्दों और मुनाफिक़ औरतों और मुशरिक मर्दों और मुशरिक औरतों को (उनके किए की) सज़ा देगा और ईमानदार मर्दों और ईमानदार औरतों की (तक़सीर अमानत की) तौबा क़ुबूल फरमाएगा और खुदा तो बड़ा बख़शने वाला मेहरबान है
