Surah Al-Hadid (الحديد) is the 57th Surah of the Holy Quran, located in Para 27. It is a Medinan Surah with 29 Ayahs. Its name translates to "The Iron".
Huwal lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda fee sittati ayyaamin summas tawaa 'alal 'Arsh; ya'lamu maa yaliju filardi wa maa yakhruju minhaa wa maa yanzilu minas samaaa'i wa maa ya'ruju feeha wa Huwa ma'akum ayna maa kuntum; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseer
It is He who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He is with you wherever you are. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.
وہی ہے جس نے آسمان اور زمین چھ دن میں پیدا کیے پھر عرش پر استوا فرمایا جیسا کہ اس کی شان کے لائق ہے، جانتا ہے جو زمین کے اندر جا تا ہے اور جو اس سے باہر نکلتا ہے اور جو آسمان سے اترتا ہے اور جو اس میں چڑھتا ہے اور وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہے تم کہیں ہو، اور اللہ تمہارے کام دیکھ رہا ہے
वह वही तो है जिसने सारे आसमान व ज़मीन को छह: दिन में पैदा किए फिर अर्श (के बनाने) पर आमादा हुआ जो चीज़ ज़मीन में दाखिल होती है और जो उससे निकलती है और जो चीज़ आसमान से नाज़िल होती है और जो उसकी तरफ चढ़ती है (सब) उसको मालूम है और तुम (चाहे) जहाँ कहीं रहो वह तुम्हारे साथ है और जो कुछ भी तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उसे देख रहा है
Yoolijul laila fin nahaari wa yoolijun nahaara fil lail; wa Huwa 'Aleemum bizaatis sudoor
He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night, and he is Knowing of that within the breasts.
رات کو دن کے حصے میں لاتا ہے اور دن کو رات کے حصے میں لاتا ہے اور وہ دلوں کی بات جانتا ہے
वही रात को (घटा कर) दिन में दाखिल करता है तो दिन बढ़ जाता है और दिन को (घटाकर) रात में दाख़िल करता है (तो रात बढ़ जाती है) और दिलों के भेदों तक से ख़ूब वाक़िफ है
Aaaminoo billaahi wa Rasoolihee wa anfiqoo mimmaa ja'alakum mustakh lafeena feehi fallazeena aamanoo minkum wa anfaqoo lahum ajrun kabeer
Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward.
اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اور اس کی راہ میں کچھ وہ خرچ کرو جس میں تمہیں اَوروں کا جانشین کیا تو جو تم میں ایمان لائے اور اس کی راہ میں خرچ کیا ان کے لیے بڑا ثواب ہے،
(लोगों) ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल पर ईमान लाओ और जिस (माल) में उसने तुमको अपना नायब बनाया है उसमें से से कुछ (ख़ुदा की राह में) ख़र्च करो तो तुम में से जो लोग ईमान लाए और (राहे ख़ुदा में) ख़र्च करते रहें उनके लिए बड़ा अज्र है
Wa maa lakum laa tu'minoona billaahi war Rasoolu yad'ookum lituu'minoo bi Rabbikum wa qad akhaza meesaaqakum in kuntum mu'mineen
And why do you not believe in Allah while the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord and He has taken your covenant, if you should [truly] be believers?
اور تمہیں کیا ہے کہ اللہ پر ایمان نہ لاؤ، حالانکہ یہ رسول تمہیں بلارہے ہیں کہ اپنے ر ب پر ایمان لاؤ اور بیشک وہ تم سے پہلے سے عہد لے چکا ہے اگر تمہیں یقین ہو،
और तुम्हें क्या हो गया है कि ख़ुदा पर ईमान नहीं लाते हो हालॉकि रसूल तुम्हें बुला रहें हैं कि अपने परवरदिगार पर ईमान लाओ और अगर तुमको बावर हो तो (यक़ीन करो कि) ख़ुदा तुम से (इसका) इक़रार ले चुका
Huwal lazee yunazzilu 'alaa 'abdiheee Aayaatim baiyinaatil liyukhrijakum minaz zulumaati ilan noor; wa innal laaha bikum la Ra'oofur Raheem
It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful.
وہی ہے کہ اپنے بندہ پر روشن آیتیں اتارتا ہے تاکہ تمہیں اندھیریوں سے اجالے کی طرف لے جائے اور بیشک ا لله تم پر ضرور مہربان رحم والا،
वही तो है जो अपने बन्दे (मोहम्मद) पर वाज़ेए व रौशन आयतें नाज़िल करता है ताकि तुम लोगों को (कुफ़्र की) तारिक़ीयों से निकाल कर (ईमान की) रौशनी में ले जाए और बेशक ख़ुदा तुम पर बड़ा मेहरबान और निहायत रहम वाला है
Wa maa lakum allaa tunfiqoo fee sabeelil laahi wa lillaahi meeraasus samaawaati wal-ard; laa yastawee minkum man anfaqa min qablil fat-hi wa qaatal; ulaaaika a'zamu darajatam minal lazeena anfaqoo mim ba'du wa qaataloo; wa kullanw wa'adallaahul husnaa; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Khabeer
And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah, with what you do, is Acquainted.
اور تمہیں کیا ہے کہ اللہ کی راہ میں خرچ نہ کرو حالانکہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں سب کا وارث اللہ ہی ہے تم میں برابر نہیں وہ جنہوں نے فتحِ مکہ سے قبل خرچ اور جہاد کیا وہ مرتبہ میں ان سے بڑے ہیں جنہوں نے بعد فتح کے خرچ اور جہاد کیا، اور ان سب سے اللہ جنت کا وعدہ فرماچکا اور اللہ کو تمہارے کاموں کی خبر ہے،
और तुमको क्या हो गया कि (अपना माल) ख़ुदा की राह में ख़र्च नहीं करते हालॉकि सारे आसमान व ज़मीन का मालिक व वारिस ख़ुदा ही है तुममें से जिस शख़्श ने फतेह (मक्का) से पहले (अपना माल) ख़र्च किया और जेहाद किया (और जिसने बाद में किया) वह बराबर नहीं उनका दर्जा उन लोगों से कहीं बढ़ कर है जिन्होंने बाद में ख़र्च किया और जेहाद किया और (यूँ तो) ख़ुदा ने नेकी और सवाब का वायदा तो सबसे किया है और जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उससे ख़ूब वाक़िफ़ है
Yawma taral mu'mineena walmu'minaati yas'aa nooruhum baina aydeehim wa biaymaanihim bushraakumul yawma jannaatun tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feeha; zaalika huwal fawzul 'azeem
On the Day you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding before them and on their right, [it will be said], "Your good tidings today are [of] gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally." That is what is the great attainment.
جس دن تم ایمان والے مردوں اور ایمان والی عورتوں کو دیکھو گے کہ ان کا نور ہے ان کے آگے اور ان کے دہنے دوڑتا ہے ان سے فرمایا جارہا ہے کہ آج تمہاری سب سے زیادہ خوشی کی بات وہ جنتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہیں تم ان میں ہمیشہ رہو، یہی بڑی کامیابی ہے،
जिस दिन तुम मोमिन मर्द और मोमिन औरतों को देखोगे कि उन (के ईमान) का नूर उनके आगे आगे और दाहिने तरफ चल रहा होगा तो उनसे कहा (जाएगा) तुमको बशारत हो कि आज तुम्हारे लिए वह बाग़ है जिनके नीचे नहरें जारी हैं जिनमें हमेशा रहोगे यही तो बड़ी कामयाबी है
Yawma yaqoolul munaa fiqoona walmunaafiqaatu lillazeena aamanun zuroonaa naqtabis min noorikum qeelarji'oo waraaa'akum faltamisoo nooran faduriba bainahum bisooril lahoo baab, baatinuhoo feehir rahmatu wa zaahiruhoo min qibalihi-'azaab
On the [same] Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light." It will be said, "Go back behind you and seek light." And a wall will be placed between them with a door, its interior containing mercy, but on the outside of it is torment.
جس دن منافق مرد اور منافق عورتیں مسلمانوں سے کہیں گے کہ ہمیں یک نگاہ دیکھو کہ ہم تمہارے نور سے کچھ حصہ لیں، کہا جائے گا اپنے پیچھے لوٹو (ُ۳۴) وہاں نور ڈھونڈو وہ لوٹیں گے، جبھی ان کے درمیان ایک دیوار کھڑی کردی جائے گی جس میں ایک دروازہ ہے اس کے اندر کی طرف رحمت اور اس کے باہر کی طرف عذاب،
उस दिन मुनाफ़िक मर्द और मुनाफ़िक औरतें ईमानदारों से कहेंगे एक नज़र (शफ़क्क़त) हमारी तरफ़ भी करो कि हम भी तुम्हारे नूर से कुछ रौशनी हासिल करें तो (उनसे) कहा जाएगा कि तुम अपने पीछे (दुनिया में) लौट जाओ और (वही) किसी और नूर की तलाश करो फिर उनके बीच में एक दीवार खड़ी कर दी जाएगी जिसमें एक दरवाज़ा होगा (और) उसके अन्दर की जानिब तो रहमत है और बाहर की तरफ अज़ाब तो मुनाफ़िक़ीन मोमिनीन से पुकार कर कहेंगे
Yunaadoonahum alam nakum ma'akum qaaloo balaa wa laakinnakum fatantum anfusakum wa tarabbastum wartabtum wa gharratkumul amaaniyyu hatta jaaa'a amrul laahi wa gharrakum billaahil gharoor
The hypocrites will call to the believers, "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you concerning Allah.
منافق مسلمانوں کو پکاریں گے کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے وہ کہیں گے کیوں نہیں مگر تم نے تو اپنی جانیں فتنہ میں ڈالیں اور مسلمانوں کی برائی تکتے اور شک رکھتے اور جھوٹی طمع نے تمھیں فریب دیا یہاں تک کہ اللہ کا حکم آگیا اور تمہیں اللہ کے حکم پر اس بڑے فریبی نے مغرور رکھا
(क्यों भाई) क्या हम कभी तुम्हारे साथ न थे तो मोमिनीन कहेंगे थे तो ज़रूर मगर तुम ने तो ख़ुद अपने आपको बला में डाला और (हमारे हक़ में गर्दिशों के) मुन्तज़िर हैं और (दीन में) शक़ किया किए और तुम्हें (तुम्हारी) तमन्नाओं ने धोखे में रखा यहाँ तक कि ख़ुदा का हुक्म आ पहुँचा और एक बड़े दग़ाबाज़ (शैतान) ने ख़ुदा के बारे में तुमको फ़रेब दिया
Fal Yawma laa yu'khazu minkum fidyatunw wa laa minal lazeena kafaroo; maawaakumun Naaru hiya maw laakum wa bi'sal maseer
So today no ransom will be taken from you or from those who disbelieved. Your refuge is the Fire. It is most worthy of you, and wretched is the destination.
تو آج نہ تم سے کوئی فدیہ لیا جائے اور نہ کھلے کافروں سے، تمہارا ٹھکانا آگ ہے، وہ تمہاری رفیق ہے، اور کیا ہی برا انجام،
तो आज न तो तुमसे कोई मुआवज़ा लिया जाएगा और न काफ़िरों से तुम सबका ठिकाना (बस) जहन्नुम है वही तुम्हारे वास्ते सज़ावार है और (क्या) बुरी जगह है
Alam yaani laillzeena aamanooo an takhsha'a quloo buhum lizikril laahi wa maa nazala minal haqqi wa laa yakoonoo kallazeena ootul Kitaaba min qablu fataala 'alaihimul amadu faqasat quloobuhum wa kaseerum minhum faasiqoon
Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.
کیا ایمان والوں کو ابھی وہ وقت نہ آیا کہ ان کے دل جھک جائیں اللہ کی یاد اور اس حق کے لیے جو اترا اور ان جیسے نہ ہوں جن کو پہلے کتاب دی گئی پھر ان پر مدت دراز ہوئی تو ان کے دل سخت ہوگئے اور ان میں بہت فاسق ہیں
क्या ईमानदारों के लिए अभी तक इसका वक्त नहीं आया कि ख़ुदा की याद और क़ुरान के लिए जो (ख़ुदा की तरफ से) नाज़िल हुआ है उनके दिल नरम हों और वह उन लोगों के से न हो जाएँ जिनको उन से पहले किताब (तौरेत, इन्जील) दी गयी थी तो (जब) एक ज़माना दराज़ गुज़र गया तो उनके दिल सख्त हो गए और इनमें से बहुतेरे बदकार हैं
Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. We have made clear to you the signs; perhaps you will understand.
جان لو کہ اللہ زمین کو زندہ کرتا ہے اس کے مرے پیچھے بیشک ہم نے تمہارے لیے نشانیاں بیان فرمادیں کہ تمہیں سمجھ ہو،
जान रखो कि ख़ुदा ही ज़मीन को उसके मरने (उफ़तादा होने) के बाद ज़िन्दा (आबाद) करता है हमने तुमसे अपनी (क़ुदरत की) निशानियाँ खोल खोल कर बयान कर दी हैं ताकि तुम समझो
Innal mussaddiqeena wal mussaddiqaati wa aqradul laaha qardan hassanany yudaa'afu lahum wa lahum ajrun kareem
Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.
بیشک صدقہ دینے والے مرد اور صدقہ دینے والی عورتیں اور وہ جنہوں نے اللہ کو اچھا قرض دیا ان کے دونے ہیں اور ان کے لیے عزت کا ثواب ہے
बेशक ख़ैरात देने वाले मर्द और ख़ैरात देने वाली औरतें और (जो लोग) ख़ुदा की नीयत से ख़ालिस कर्ज़ देते हैं उनको दोगुना (अज्र) दिया जाएगा और उनका बहुत मुअज़िज़ सिला (जन्नत) तो है ही
Wallazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rusuliheee ulaaa'ika humus siddeeqoona wash shuhadaaa'u 'inda Rabbihim lahum ajruhum wa nooruhum wallazeena kafaroo wa kazzaboo bi aayaatinaaa ulaaaika As haabul jaheem
And those who have believed in Allah and His messengers - those are [in the ranks of] the supporters of truth and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light. But those who have disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of Hellfire.
اور وہ جو اللہ اور اس کے سب رسولوں پر ایمان لائیں وہی ہیں کامل سچے، اور اَوروں پر گواہ اپنے رب کے یہاں، ان کے لیے ان کا ثواب اور ان کا نور ہے اور جنہوں نے کفر کیا اور ہماری آیتیں جھٹلائیں وہ دوزخی ہیں،
और जो लोग ख़ुदा और उसके रसूलों पर ईमान लाए यही लोग अपने परवरदिगार के नज़दीक सिद्दीक़ों और शहीदों के दरजे में होंगे उनके लिए उन्ही (सिद्दीकों और शहीदों) का अज्र और उन्हीं का नूर होगा और जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र किया और हमारी आयतों को झुठलाया वही लोग जहन्नुमी हैं
I'lamooo annamal hayaa tud dunyaa la'ibunw wa lahwunw wa zeenatunw wa takaasurun bainakum wa takaasurn fil amwaali wal awlaad, kamasali ghaisin a'jabal kuffaara nabaatuhoo summa yaheeju fataraahu musfaaran summa yakoonu hutaamaa; wa fil aakhirati 'azaabun shadeedunw wa magh firatum minal laahi wa ridwaan; wa mal haiyaa tuddun yaaa illaa mataa'ul ghuroor
Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.
جان لو کہ دنیا کی زندگی تو نہیں مگر کھیل کود اور آرائش اور تمہارا آپس میں بڑائی مارنا اور مال اور اولاد میں ایک دوسرے پر زیادتی چاہنا اس مینھ کی طرح جس کا اُگایاسبزہ کسانوں کو بھایا پھر سوکھا کہ تو اسے زرد دیکھے پھر روندن (پامال کیا ہوا) ہوگیا اور آخرت میں سخت عذاب ہے اور اللہ کی طرف سے بخشش اور اس کی رضا اور دنیا کا جینا تو نہیں مگر دھوکے کا مال
जान रखो कि दुनियावी ज़िन्दगी महज़ खेल और तमाशा और ज़ाहिरी ज़ीनत (व आसाइश) और आपस में एक दूसरे पर फ़ख्र क़रना और माल और औलाद की एक दूसरे से ज्यादा ख्वाहिश है (दुनयावी ज़िन्दगी की मिसाल तो) बारिश की सी मिसाल है जिस (की वजह) से किसानों की खेती (लहलहाती और) उनको ख़ुश कर देती थी फिर सूख जाती है तो तू उसको देखता है कि ज़र्द हो जाती है फिर चूर चूर हो जाती है और आख़िरत में (कुफ्फार के लिए) सख्त अज़ाब है और (मोमिनों के लिए) ख़ुदा की तरफ से बख़्शिस और ख़ुशनूदी और दुनयावी ज़िन्दगी तो बस फ़रेब का साज़ो सामान है
Saabiqooo ilaa maghfiratim mir Rabbikum wa jannatin 'arduhaa ka-'ardis samaaa'i wal ardi u'iddat lillazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rusulih; zaalika fadlul laahi yu'teehi many yashaaa'; wal laahu zul fadlil 'azeem
Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
بڑھ کر چلو اپنے رب کی بخشش اور اس جنت کی طرف جس کی چوڑائی جیسے آسمان اور زمین کا پھیلاؤ تیار ہوئی ہے ان کے لیے جو اللہ اور اس کے سب رسولوں پر ایمان لائے، یہ اللہ کا فضل ہے جسے چاہے دے، اور اللہ بڑا فضل والا ہے،
तुम अपने परवरदिगार के (सबब) बख़्शिस की और बेहिश्त की तरफ लपक के आगे बढ़ जाओ जिसका अर्ज़ आसमान और ज़मीन के अर्ज़ के बराबर है जो उन लोगों के लिए तैयार की गयी है जो ख़ुदा पर और उसके रसूलों पर ईमान लाए हैं ये ख़ुदा का फज़ल है जिसे चाहे अता करे और ख़ुदा का फज़ल (व क़रम) तो बहुत बड़ा है
Maaa asaaba mim musee batin fil ardi wa laa feee anfusikum illaa fee kitaabim min qabli an nabra ahaa; innaa zaalika 'alal laahi yaseer
No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allah, is easy -
نہیں پہنچتی کوئی مصیبت زمین میں اور نہ تمہاری جانوں میں مگر وہ ایک کتاب میں ہے قبل اس کے کہ ہم اسے پیدا کریں بیشک یہ اللہ کو آسان ہے،
जितनी मुसीबतें रूए ज़मीन पर और ख़ुद तुम लोगों पर नाज़िल होती हैं (वह सब) क़ब्ल इसके कि हम उन्हें पैदा करें किताब (लौह महफूज़) में (लिखी हुई) हैं बेशक ये ख़ुदा पर आसान है
Likailaa taasaw 'alaa maa faatakum wa laa tafrahoo bimaaa aataakum; wallaahu laa yuhibbu kulla mukhtaalin fakhoor
In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful -
اس لیے کہ غم نہ کھاؤ اس پر جو ہاتھ سے جائے اور خوش نہ ہو اس پر جو تم کو دیا اور اللہ کو نہیں کوئی اترونا (شیخی بگھارنے والا) بڑائی مارنے والا،
ताकि जब कोई चीज़ तुमसे जाती रहे तो तुम उसका रंज न किया करो और जब कोई चीज़ (नेअमत) ख़ुदा तुमको दे तो उस पर न इतराया करो और ख़ुदा किसी इतराने वाले येख़ी बाज़ को दोस्त नहीं रखता
Laqad arsalnaa Rusulanaa bilbaiyinaati wa anzalnaa ma'ahumul Kitaaba wal Meezaana liyaqooman naasu bilqist, wa anzalnal hadeeda feehi baasun shadeedunw wa manaafi'u linnaasi wa liya'lamal laahu many yansuruhoo wa Rusulahoo bilghaib; innal laaha Qawiyyn 'Azeez
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
بیشک ہم نے اپنے رسولوں کو دلیلوں کے ساتھ بھیجا اور ان کے ساتھ کتاب اور عدل کی ترازو اتاری کہ لوگ انصاف پر قائم ہوں اور ہم نے لوہا اتارا اس میں سخت آنچ (نقصان) اور لوگوں کے فائدے اور اس لیے کہ اللہ دیکھے اس کو جو بے دیکھے اس کی اور اس کے رسولوں کی مدد کرتا ہے، بیشک اللہ قورت والا غالب ہے
हमने यक़ीनन अपने पैग़म्बरों को वाज़े व रौशन मोजिज़े देकर भेजा और उनके साथ किताब और (इन्साफ़ की) तराज़ू नाज़िल किया ताकि लोग इन्साफ़ पर क़ायम रहे और हम ही ने लोहे को नाज़िल किया जिसके ज़रिए से सख्त लड़ाई और लोगों के बहुत से नफे (की बातें) हैं और ताकि ख़ुदा देख ले कि बेदेखे भाले ख़ुदा और उसके रसूलों की कौन मदद करता है बेशक ख़ुदा बहुत ज़बरदस्त ग़ालिब है
Wa laqad arsalnaa Noohanw wa Ibraaheema wa ja'alnaa fee zurriyyatihiman nubuwwata wal Kitaaba faminhum muhtad; wa kaseerum minhum faasiqoon
And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.
اور بیشک ہم نے نوح اور ابراہیم کو بھیجا اور ان کی اولاد میں نبوت اور کتاب رکھی تو ان میں کوئی راہ پر آیا اور ان میں بہتیرے فاسق ہیں،
और बेशक हम ही ने नूह और इबराहीम को (पैग़म्बर बनाकर) भेजा और उनही दोनों की औलाद में नबूवत और किताब मुक़र्रर की तो उनमें के बाज़ हिदायत याफ्ता हैं और उन के बहुतेरे बदकार हैं
Summa qaffainaa 'alaa aasaarihim bi Rusulinaa wa qaffainaa be 'Eesab ni Maryama wa aatainaahul Injeela wa ja'alnaa fee quloobil lazeenat taba' oohu raafatanw wa rahmatanw wa rahbaaniyyatanib tada' oohaa maa katanaahaa 'alaihim illab tighaaa'a ridwaanil laahi famaa ra'awhaa haqqa ri'aayatihaa fa aatainal lazeena aamanoo minhum ajrahum wa kaseerum minhum faasiqoon
Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah. But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.
پھر ہم نے ان کے پیچھے اسی راہ پر اپنے اور رسول بھیجے اور ان کے پیچھے عیسیٰ بن مریم کو بھیجا اور اسے انجیل عطا فرمائی اور اس کے پیروں کے دل میں نرمی اور رحمت رکھی اور راہب بننا تو یہ بات انہوں نے دین میں اپنی طرف سے نکالی ہم نے ان پر مقرر نہ کی تھی ہاں یہ بدعت انہوں نے ا لله کی رضا چاہنے کو پیدا کی پھر اسے نہ نباہا جیسا اس کے نباہنے کا حق تھا تو ان کے ایمان والوں کو ہم نے ان کا ثواب عطا کیا، اور ان میں سے بہتیرے فاسق ہیں،
फिर उनके पीछे ही उनके क़दम ब क़दम अपने और पैग़म्बर भेजे और उनके पीछे मरियम के बेटे ईसा को भेजा और उनको इन्जील अता की और जिन लोगों ने उनकी पैरवी की उनके दिलों में यफ़क्क़त और मेहरबानी डाल दी और रहबानियत (लज्ज़ात से किनाराकशी) उन लोगों ने ख़ुद एक नयी बात निकाली थी हमने उनको उसका हुक्म नहीं दिया था मगर (उन लोगों ने) ख़ुदा की ख़ुशनूदी हासिल करने की ग़रज़ से (ख़ुद ईजाद किया) तो उसको भी जैसा बनाना चाहिए था न बना सके तो जो लोग उनमें से ईमान लाए उनको हमने उनका अज्र दिया उनमें के बहुतेरे तो बदकार ही हैं
Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamaanut taqullaaha wa aaminoo bi Rasoolihee yu'tikum kiflaini mir rahmatihee wa yaj'al lakum nooran tamshoona bihee wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem
O you who have believed, fear Allah and believe in His Messenger; He will [then] give you a double portion of His mercy and make for you a light by which you will walk and forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
اے ایمان والو! اللہ سے ڈرو اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ وہ اپنی رحمت کے دو حصے تمہیں عطا فرمائے گا اور تمہارے لیے نور کردے گا جس میں چلو اور تمہیں بخش دے گا، اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے،
ऐ ईमानदारों ख़ुदा से डरो और उसके रसूल (मोहम्मद) पर ईमान लाओ तो ख़ुदा तुमको अपनी रहमत के दो हिस्से अज्र अता फरमाएगा और तुमको ऐसा नूर इनायत फ़रमाएगा जिस (की रौशनी) में तुम चलोगे और तुमको बख्श भी देगा और ख़ुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है
Li'alla ya'lama Ahlul kitaabi allaa yaqdiroona 'alaa shai'im min fadlil laahi wa annal fadla bi Yadil laahi u'teehi many yashaaa'; wallaahu Zul fadilil 'azeem
[This is] so that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able [to obtain] anything from the bounty of Allah and that [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
یہ اس لیے کہ کتاب والے کافر جان جائیں کہ اللہ کے فضل پر ان کا کچھ قابو نہیں اور یہ کہ فضل اللہ کے ہاتھ ہے دیتا ہے جسے چاہے، اور اللہ بڑے فضل والا ہے،
(ये इसलिए कहा जाता है) ताकि अहले किताब ये न समझें कि ये मोमिनीन ख़ुदा के फज़ल (व क़रम) पर कुछ भी कुदरत नहीं रखते और ये तो यक़ीनी बात है कि फज़ल ख़ुदा ही के कब्ज़े में है वह जिसको चाहे अता फरमाए और ख़ुदा तो बड़े फज़ल (व क़रम) का मालिक है
